Renovated July 2020 - This modern apartment is walking distance to Deep Water Marinas, the best restaurants in Mystic, Captain Daniel Packer Inn, SIFT Bakery, The Oyster Club, the Historic Mystic Drawbridge, the Mystic river, Train Station, and Unique Shops. Minutes away from the historic fishing village of Stonington Borough home to Capt. Palmer discoverer of Antarctica, Fort Griswold Revolutionary War battle site on the Groton Bank, Fort Trumbull that fell to an assault instigated by Benedict Arnold, Submarine Museum home of the USS Nautilus, the first nuclear powered submarine and first submarine to navigate beneath the North Pole, Bluff Point State Park, Haley Farm State park, Barn Island Wildlife Preserve, the Mystic Seaport Museum, and the Mystic Aquarium. Just a short drive to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos, and RI beaches.

This modernly designed historic 2nd floor 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment sleeps up to 3 with a king master bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. Each bedroom offers a comfortable nights rest with Sealy Tempur-Pedic mattresses and smart tv. Sheets, wash cloths, and towels are provided. The unit has high-speed Wi-Fi, 4K HDTV, washer & dryer, heating, and A/C.

It features a fully equipped high-end kitchen, microwave, blender, toaster, cooking essentials, dishwasher, and a Keurig machine. There is 1 on-site parking space, and a shared common backyard space. An additional parking space may be provided for $25/day with advance notice.

This apartment is one of four units which are all available to rent on AirBnB. Please contact host if you would like to rent more than one unit for family reunions, weddings, and special events.

Great location and fun place to stay with everything we needed. Great neighborhood to walk and see the beautiful old homes of Mystic. We were not expecting an apartment above (noise travels through old wooden floors) but luckily other renters weren't noisy. Would stay again!

This host doesn't like any questions- had trouble with code getting in- he didn't like text, listed dishwasher, no dishwasher, didn't like the text, had to cancel last 3 nts on 17 nt booking within lots of time- didn't like that. He called the police to get us out! If things aren't perfect, hope you don't need to text. A host is an important part of your stay.

Romantic mini vacation

My wife and I have a beautiful stay in Mystic at the Harper House #8 celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The unit was clean, comfortable and a short walk to town. Would recommend staying hear and wouldn't hesitate booking again. Bonus a king size bed but knew that going in.

Perfect Location

This unit was perfectly situation at the end of the Main Street. We were able to walk to a lot of different places like Sift Bake Shop and many shops. I would say investing in a full length mirror would be a good improvement as well as thicker ply toilet paper.

Even Better the Second Time!

We enjoyed a 4 night stay in the quaint seaside town of Mystic made so much better by chic, well appointed accommodations. Literally walking distance from the Museum, an impressive Bakery and so many charming shops in the Historic District, the location couldn't have been better, offering private parking, which we found was a premium amenity. This was our second year staying at this vacation house. Our first time was on the top floor which we enjoyed and set a great expectation for this year on the first floor. Well stocked with everything needed, we cooked a few quality meals with ease; savored the complimentary wine; kicked back and watched movies a couple of evenings. Next year when we return, we'll consider ourselves "regulars!"

Getaway long weekend

The apartment is lovely. Very clean and recently updated, so walls, floors, rugs, etc in great condition. Plenty of bath towels, large shower, kitchen well-appointed for our stay. Two tvs, comfy couch and loves that we each had a rack for our suitcases! Easy walk to downtown Mystic. Because it’s a very old house, it’s a little loud, but that didn’t really bother us. Great find and thanks for the bottle of wine!!

Memorial Day Weekend

Stayed here over Memorial Day Weekend. Location to Downtown is excellent for walking, very short walk to everything. Finishes are beautiful inside, bed was comfy, clean place, etc. Not a ton of storage for clothes in the bedroom, but we managed. Given proximity to downtown and that it is an old home, there is noise - but host does a great job with the quiet hours policy. Most of the guests in the home were younger families (we all had kids) and it was fine.
