The staff were very welcoming. The view was incredible. The bed was comfy. The area was very convenient for transportation. The only down part was that the shower pressure is horrible ! Also the elevator broke for most of the time we were there so we had to use the workers elevator which was in poor looking condition.

Hotel advertised as recently renovated. Guess that applies to the rooms only as the entire stay the elevators were down and had water entry into one unit. I would state this to be the worse hotel stay in my 20 years of any hotel. Every patron was stuck floor by floor up and down packed into an elevator every day of our stay. Had to walk 30 plus floors multiple times. Despite asking the staff to man an employee or 3rd party with an override to empty the elevators when full the staff ignored the feedback and took no actions towards a solution. This only reflects on Hotel Mgmt not being involved with solutions over a bad issue. The staff wanted to treat it like a god event that couldn't be controlled. This only reflects more poorly as elevators if properly maintained do not have these issues. The staff was vague with intent on the issue. Why you would have staff standing around and not have a fulltime elevator operator in every unit running to empty patrons as quickly and efficiently as possible until resolution was in place shows a lack of thinking and leadership by the mgmt team to mitigate this issue. Due to waiting for 30 min and than walking 44 flights of stairs down my wife and ran late to a show in New York simply because we could not get down the building. I will be providing letters to this hotel company formally. In 20 years of travel I have never left a poor review. The lack of problem solving and communication by this staff was horrible. I highly recommend avoiding.

The first room they gave me wasnt cleaned and the second one the ac was broken. They made it up to me by giving me an upgraded room and it was worth the hassle. The room was on the 52nd floor and I seen the Hudson river and it had two floor to ceiling windows. It's also in a tourist section: Right in front of the world trade center. I'd stay again
