I absolutly love Summer Bay. Everything about the Resort from start to finish with all staff. Brad at the front desk, Paul, Will and Brad the bartenders were friendly, funny, made you feel welcomed. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful. My 2nd time staying at Summer Bay and will continue to come to Florida for Summer Bay.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!! Our family booked a 2BR condo at Summer Bay Orlando. It was our 1st time staying at this property & we wanted somewhere that was kid-friendly, so we booked here based on research, the photos we seen on the website, and the reviews from others. When we arrived to our room, it was nothing like the pictures we saw online. The room was very outdated and dirty. We called the front desk and asked if we could be moved because the room did not meet our expectations and looked nothing like the pictures online. The lady that answered told us that 3rd parties, such as Expedia, Travelocity, etc were posting misleading pictures of the property. I went to Summer Bay Orlando website and the pictures were the same exact pictures that 3rd parties had on their site. I was frustrated at this point, so I went to the front desk and asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor, Simone told me that they had rooms like the ones on their site, but those rooms were only for the owners. This property is posting FALSE & MISLEADING information. They post modern updated pictures and put you in outdated rooms. The supervisor even said we run into issues like this all the time. SMH. They did give us a cleaner room (still outdated), however the AC unit was leaking & water was everywhere. I spoke to a manager named Serena the next day to tell her about my experience and she really didn’t care whatsoever. She was very nonchalant. This was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Pools and activities for Kids are great.
But the issue with rooms and beds is an issue, when you select a room with 2 double beds, and they provide a room with 2 queen beds. And tell you that it's only a request for # of beds in a unit

Nice resort with a lot to do without leaving the property. The condo room was great and very secure. Concierge offers a free 7 night resort stay with timeshare tour and presentation...Be aware the free vacation will cost you hundreds at least if not thousands to use.

We enjoyed our stay and there is a lot to do without leaving the resort. There is a Publix beside the resort, so shopping is simple and easy. We stayed in the condo side of the resort and our room was great with plenty of parking. *WORD TO THE WISE*
After check-in you are sent to concierge to "validate" your parking (opportunity to sign you up for timeshare presentation)...Kathy offered us $150 in gift cards and a "free" 7 night stay at one of their resorts, upon completion we went on the site to look for our options and every resort has taxes and fees to book, you will pay a minimum of $350 and in some cases $1,000 to use the free vacation and the resorts are not always close to the town the brochure say's it's in...Just be aware this is the case.
