Excellent "Pied a terre" to visit Paris

This apartment was perfect for us. Centrally located, it is within walking distance of the heart of the Marais, the Pompidou Center, the Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame, Rue de Rivoli, le Louvre, le Quartier Latin and many other interesting neighborhoods and sites. There are many good restaurants nearby and easy access to the MĂ©tro or a taxi for farther ones. Note that the street is not ideal for drop-offs, let alone to park. Taxis have it a bit easier as they can use the taxi lane.The apartment was very clean and well furnished, in a modern and elegant tone that contrasts with the old Paris look of the building’s entrance and floors. There is an elevator, and the apartment has two bedrooms and two large bathrooms. We did not use one of the bedrooms but having the extra bathroom was nice. The place was private and quiet. Strangely, the A/C seemed to be continuously trying to cool down the heat generated by the central heating! Not a big issue, just not very efficient.The kitchen is not large but nicely appointed and stocked with ample dishware and all the necessary staples, including teas and coffee pods. Perfect for what we needed. The washer/dryer was also very useful. In short, we had a great stay and will likely be back on our next stay in Paris.

Is you want a large luxurious bedroom suite in a great location this is it but apartment gives to unattractive central courtyard (light is fine, just keep curtains closed!), has tiny living:dinning/kitchen area and second bedroom has nowhere to put your clothing - no drawers no closet - nothing. Second bathroom also unusually luxurious but not connected to a bedroom. Access to apartment is extremely unattractive. Hosts responsive.

Wonderful apartment in Paris

We spent 3 nights in Paris, and this was the perfect apartment for my family of 4. Our plane arrived early in the morning, and Andrea was very accommodating and met us for an early check in. This was a huge help to us so we did not need to find somewhere to store our luggage. The neighborhood is amazing. There are many restaurants, shops, and bakeries within a 5 minute walk. We also visited a small grocery store right around the corner which was perfect to pick up snacks, water, and wine. We utilized the nearby metro stop, Hotel de Ville, and were able to get to all of the major attractions very easily. The Metro station is less than a 2 minute walk from the apartment. We found the apartment itself just as advertised. There were two good size bedrooms as well as a pull out couch. The 2 bathrooms were large and had very nice showers. We also utilized the washing machine which was a big bonus! The apartment is on the 5th floor so you do not hear any noise from the city when sleeping. There is an elevator to save your energy after walking around Paris. This was my first stay in Paris and it was an amazing experience. I will definitely be back and would hope this apartment is available when I return!

An excellent apartment and location!

This is the second time we have stayed at this apartment- excellent communication with manager and easy check in! Wonderful location with short walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre! Excellent restaurants nearby and always felt very safe in the neighborhood- recommend for two couples or family of 4 !

Lovely apartment with great location

Our stay in this apartment was wonderful. The apartment is well equipped with all that is needed. It is clean, well appointed and luxurious as the host provides many extras not normally found in a vacation rental. Beds were comfortable, A/C worked very well bathrooms were modern and toiletries were provided. The location was outstanding and walking to the Louvre, Musee D’Orsay, Notre Dame, and other sights was easily doable. Best of all the host was very responsive and kind. I’d definitely recommend this apartment for a wonderful stay in Paris.

Great location

The apartment is very clean and has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The main Bedroom has a huge closet but the 2nd bedroom is lacking a place to unpack which is fine for a family but a bit awkward for 2 couples.

Great Easter weekend stay

This is a great, secure and clean property in a great location - 1 block from the Pompidou, a 10-15 minute walk to Notre Dame and there are lots of restaurants nearby. The kitchen was well stocked, the furniture and beds were comfortable and there were even 2 U.S. electrical/plug converters in the outlets. The description seemed to indicate both bedrooms were "masters" with a bathroom attached, however, only 1 bedroom is a master - but it didn't matter for our situation. We would certainly stay here again - highly recommend!

We were a family of 3 staying in this lovely flat and were all very satisfied with our experience. The hostess was very responsive. It was a pleasant surprise to be greeted with wine, Champagne and macarons. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms super spacious. The kitchen was well-designed and functional. The location was excellent, only a couple blocks from 2 separate Metro stops. This was a wonderful VRBO experience for our first trip to Paris.

Great stay in a great location

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Everything was wonderful from check in, to the apartment, communication with property manager and an excellent location just a few minute walk to metro allowing simple access to transportation network. Great restraunts are immediately adjacent.

A gem in Paris

We loved every minute of our stay - the apartment is beautiful. And I am not sure I have ever stayed anywhere that is so quiet. It's a great neighbourhood - and really easy to get just about anywhere on foot. I would absolutely recommend a stay here - it's perfect!

Nice Apartment

Central location a short distance from the Louvre, Notre Dame, Seine river and the Metro. Apartment was clean, modern and the beds were comfortable. Really enjoyed the welcome gifts (nice touch). Elevator stopped working the day before we left so a bit of an inconvenience hauling our luggage down the stairs. Enjoyed our stay here!
