I brought my son and some of his friends to tour the ASU campus. This location was extremely convenient and clean. We will stay here again if we come back to the area. Thanks for the hospitality!
Can from California to see Wicked at ASU Gammage for my birthday and then stayed for the weekend. The theatre was a 1 mile walk which was nice after being in the car. During Friday and Saturday we went to a karaoke place where we got our own room, ventured around the marketplace and then went bowling. Tempe is a nice central area with Phoenix, Scottsdale and Mesa being around a 15-20 minute drive. Our host Jay was great gave us all the information for check in and was quick to answer the few questions I had. Overall it was a fun weekend. Would stay here again.
Most responsive host I've ever had. Place was clean and ready for us with an abundance of details regarding checking in which made it easy. Location was perfect as we came to see a performance at the Charter School next door. Only gripe is that the listing says three bedrooms when there are only 2 bedrooms.
Easy access to major roads and freeways, well appointed apartment with adequate dishes, furniture, etc. We liked the security. Good value for the price, it could just be a little cleaner.
Did not smell good as we walked in. Arrived after dark. Advertised as three bedroomsâŠit is two bedrooms and a couch that converts to a bed. It is an apartment and not even close to an âexecutive condo,â as itâs falsely marketed. The apartment had not been cleaned in weeks as I could write words in the dust on virtually everything in the place. We contacted the owner. His response was that I should let him know what was dirty and he would let his âcleaning crewâ know. He should have sent someone over immediately to clean the place, but didnât. He clearly didnât care. Dropped an item off a bedroom dresser that bounced underneath it. I retrieved it â stuck on a sticky mouse trap! Disgusting. Just be forewarned before you consider booking the apt.
We had booked a 3 day stay here for Memorial Day weekend for our family. Unfortunately, our stay did not go as planned. This is not by any means an executive condo. It is an apartment at best. It was listed as a 3 bedroom unit but it is only a 2 bedroom unit with the third "bedroom" being counted as the family living room with a pull out couch. The host is aware of this and even when we contacted him about the issue, he said VRBO allowed it. When we contacted VRBO, they stated it violated their policy
We felt as if we were scammed because of the confusing and false advertising of the booking. VRBO has a listed option for a PULL OUT COUCH. Had I known this did not offer 3 rooms, I would have booked other options at the time which did. Because it was last minute we were stuck with inflated prices for the weekend.
When we contacted the host, there was no offer for a solution, no care to fix the situation, nor was there any want to help. We contacted VRBO who put us up into a hotel for a night and had to fight to find accommodations for the remainder of our stay.
The condo has two bedrooms, each with its en suite bathroom. The bedrooms were large with ample closet space, and double-sink vanities. Great for traveling with a family when we need to all get ready at the same time. The couch has a pull-out bed, so this should be listed as a 2 bedroom. The condo was mostly clean, though I notice that the floor could have been cleaned better. Kitchen was tight but has the basic amenities, including basic condiments and a Keurig coffeemaker. I would suggest adding a cutting board so we're not cutting on the dishes.
The host was timely in answering our questions. Overall, a very smooth stay in a location close to many restaurants and convenient to Phoenix sights and Sky Harbor airport.
Our granddaughter was touring ASU. The location was excellent and we liked the condo a lot. The only thing we didn't like was that it was listed as a 3 bedroom while in reality it had 2 bedrooms and a sleeper couch in the living room
We had a very nice time and the host was great. We got an early checkin and we really liked walking to dinner around the campus. We watched spring training baseball and all of the parks we went to were close. This is a 2 bedroom property, but there is a couch in the living room.
