Very neat place to stay.pretty much anything you wanted to see in the old town was walkable to.staff was just so nice which even added to the trip.

This hotel is a gem! We really enjoyed the unique style. Very modern feeling with very nice bathrooms and clean rooms. The breakfast buffet was very nice with fresh squeezed OJ and freshly baked pastries along with fruits and yogurt, etc. The online photos don't really do this place justice. I had no idea we were going to be so centrally located! It was perfect for walking to see the town, and so many amazing restaurants. My only regret was that we only stayed one night!

Excellent location Amazing friendly helpful Hotel Team. Incredible views of the Douro River and Famous Iconic Bridge! Wonderful bright breakfast room with excellent continental breakfast options including great sealed Gluten-Free bread roll option for coeliac dietary requirements. Pillows great quality but far too soft!

Beautiful Stay

Beautiful blend of old architecture and modern amenities. Pleasant staff, offered us Port at reception, quaint breakfast nook room that was delicious selections. Room was clean and had balcony overlooking the water.

Excellent position very central for everything There are are couple of negatives and it’s in the rooms The tv is suspended from the ceiling on a pole and you have to duck when going to the bathroom so in the middle of the night it could be dangerous Also no sockets except by the bed making make up hard as also no mirror by the desk or socket These could be rectified simply The staff were excellent Luis helped a lot Excellent service also from the rest of the staff

We stayed here for 4 nights. Isabel greeted us when we arrived and we saw her every day we were there. She is so sweet and always smiling. Breakfast was delicious, a wide variety to choose from. And there's cake! I love cake at breakfast. There was also cake in the afternoon. You're walking so much you can have cake anytime you want! Our room had a queen bed, view of the river, nice bathroom with walk-in shower and was quiet at night (even on Halloween and during the marathon). The hotel is in a really convenient location, close to the waterfront. We walked to Gaia across the river. We walked up many hills! Really enjoyed Porto. everyone is friendly. So much to see.

Thank you to all the staff at Memoria Hotel for making our stay very enjoyable. Lovely hotel, excellent location for stay in Porto and very good value for money. Room very comfortable and clean. Good continental breakfast with ample variety of fresh food. Afternoon tea with fresh home made cakes available every day in the restaurant at no extra charge. Luiz and his team very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble to arrange. Rooms at the front of the hotel can be noisy with the traffic at times however there is a wonderful view over the river. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
