I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness or comfort. The property appeared very worn down and poorly maintained. The furniture was outdated and visibly dirty, and the walls and other surfaces throughout the room were not clean. The entire space felt untidy and neglected, with a lived-in appearance that made it uncomfortable to settle in. Additionally, the environment did not feel secure, which is especially concerning for solo travelers—particularly women. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here alone or as a first option. Lastly, the hotel room door did not feel secure. It seemed flimsy and unreinforced, raising serious safety concerns—especially for solo travelers. I did not feel entirely safe during my stay because of this.

They were very nice. The rooms were extraordinary. The pool is amazing. The only thing we tried to eat at 9 o'clock and the place was closed and they were supposed to close at 10, but other than that, we would definitely stay again.

Booked a 3 night stay. Was unable to sleep in the hard mattress. Every movement from the floor went through my back. Stayed as long as we could without sleeping. Motel & Expedia have to date not given the last night refund. Also our feet were black from the dirty room & lots of up charges. Beware.

Decent Value for an Older Property

The La Quinta is older. Its last remodel was done sloppily, with bad fitting bathroom fixtures and old paint drips left on railings. The pool was bathtub warm and overly chlorinated. Breakfast was free but was the same thing every morning. Parking was free and ample. Employees were nice. We had a desk chair that tipped over (no injuries), and bed sheets that often came untucked. The hotel has nice views that we enjoyed from the room’s balcony.

In rooms lighting was very low and dark making it difficult to read, amenities were very minimal, sheets on bed were worn out and continually came off, room clean up was not very thorough with crumbs on floor, and no replacement of toilet paper and facial tissue until we asked.
