The Space:

Villa Amistad – Entire 6BR Ocean-View Villa



The villa features six king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, multiple breezy terraces, and over 4,000 sq ft of indoor–outdoor living space. Gather for coffee at sunrise, long poolside afternoons, and sunset cocktails with views of the bay and seasonal whale sightings. Two full kitchens and additional kitchenettes make group dining easy—whether you cook together or bring in a private chef. Ultra-fast Wi-Fi (1 Gbps + backup) ensures smooth remote work, streaming, and group connectivity.



Guests enjoy full private access to the villa’s heated saltwater pool, terraces, BBQ area, honor bar, purified water throughout, and daily housekeeping (Mon–Sat). A Guest App with a guidebook is included with dining recommendations and activity planning. Smart Luxury Extras including concierge assistance for airport transfers, private chefs, and tours, requests for Priority Early Check-in, Late Check-out, In-house Massages, and more may be requested online after booking. Located in El Cerro, Puerto Vallarta’s original hillside neighborhood, the villa is just a 5-minute walk to the Malecón and 10–20 minutes to Los Muertos Beach, restaurants, bars, art galleries, and the Romantic Zone. The hill is moderate—taxis and Ubers are inexpensive and easy to use if preferred.

- Smoke-Free Property: Smoking must be done off-site.

- Stairs: 17 steps to the villa entrance, with multiple staircases inside. The booking of the main villa is located on floors 2 (main level) and floor 3 the Penthouse Level. The entry level is flr 1 and contains Host's private apartment and the housekeeping and villa office.

- Not a Party Villa: Best suited for relaxing getaways. No parties or events permitted.

- Damage Waiver: A $35 USD fee is added at booking and covers accidental damage up to $500.

- Security Deposit: A $1000 USD credit or debit card authorization hold is placed within 48 hours of check-in to cover any potential damages or outstanding balances during your stay. Guest Access:

Parking and drop-offs

Guests can drive up to the house to drop off luggage. While parking isn’t allowed in the alley, street parking is available nearby on adjacent streets. Guests and friends have never had an issue with their cars.



The Neighborhood:

Villa Amistad is located in El Cerro, one of Puerto Vallarta’s original hillside neighborhoods overlooking Banderas Bay. Our small cobblestone alley is home to long-time Mexican families, many single middle-aged to older women, and a few gay men — a close-knit community where neighbors know each other and look out for one another. It feels authentic, lived-in, and safe.



Guests love staying here because they can enjoy the energy of the city, then return to a peaceful, local neighborhood that still feels genuinely Mexican.



Getting Around:

The Romantic Zone, Centro, and 5 de Diciembre neighborhoods are all within walking distance—most places are 5–25 minutes away on foot. The hill up to the villa is moderate; guests who prefer not to walk are welcome to use the many Ubers and taxis readily available and affordable in this area. Local buses run along the main roads below and cost 10 pesos (exact change required). Our concierge service by Faby can arrange airport transfers and private transportation during your stay. Parking is not allowed on Arroyo del Pedregoso, but free street parking is available on nearby streets.

Families

Families with children are welcome, but please note the villa is not childproof. There is an unfenced pool, open stairs, low railings, and breakable artwork and pottery. No children’s furniture or toys are provided.

We encourage parents to reach out before booking if they have questions to ensure the villa is a good fit.



Daily Full Housekeeping – Relax & Enjoy

Enjoy Full complimentary daily housekeeping (except Sundays and holidays), including bed-making, towel replacement (when left on the floor), dishwashing in the morning, and supply replenishment.

- For stays of 7+ nights: Linen change every 5 nights.

- For stays of 10+ nights: Enhanced cleaning every 5 days.



Gratuities for staff are not included but are deeply appreciated — 100% of tips go directly to them in recognition of their hard work.

While some of us live in separate private apartments on the property, the main villa itself — including the pool, terraces, and all guest spaces — is reserved entirely for you and your group.



We’re nearby to ensure everything runs smoothly, but never intrusive. Our presence in shared spaces is solely to support the staff, handle maintenance, or respond to requests — always with your comfort and peace of mind as our top priority.
