Family oriented hotel with amazing staff. Yolanda from concierge was very helpful and provided us with great costumer service. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the management. Very poor maintenance of facilities (clogged sinks, leaking AC, our safe had no batteries, squeaking doors etc..)

We requested early access two days prior and they felt they could do it. On arrival they couldn’t do it . We sat by the pool until 3 which was check in time and were told it would be 4 . Very unsatisfactory

No complaints at all with our group of 4. Sometimes it was abit overwhelming on the beach with the peddlers, ALOT… , ( but they were lovely and we expected that, ) We really loved everything about the hotel, the staff were so friendly, and our room was spotless every time we got back there. Would easily recommend this place, and plan to come back!

On the beach in the heart of the romantic zone. Walk to shops, restaurant , malecón and pier. Hotel has pools and hot tub. Rooms on the beach with great views. All the staff is friendly

Overall, the stay was fine. Rooms are smaller and dated. We did the all inclusive plan and the buffet is the only restaurant included with a night at one of the other restaurants for every three nights stayed. The buffet food was fine, different choices, different nights, but tended to get old after a week. Dinner at the upgraded restaurant was limited to choice of either salad or soup, a choice of 1of 4 entrées and choice of 1 of 2 desserts. Skirt steak was very good. Alcohol drinks were very good and available. Staff was nice. Location was in romantic zone, which can be quite busy with lots of people. One of the 2 elevators seem to be down at different times during the day which was inconvenient.

My first time here, I stayed 3 weeks and I loved it! The rooms were clean, the beds and linens were comfortable and very clean. I did not want a 5 star experience..I wanted to immerse myself into the local culture. The people were so friendly and as a 72 yr old woman, solo traveler I felt safe at all times.it was family friendly. I love it that i could walk everywhere...whether from the beach or from the street. The hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. I will be back!

I stayed at Casa Dona Suzanna which I loved very much. I wish tgey had kept the wrought iron doors to the balcony. We stayed at playa this time because of direct access to beach. I did not prefer the room cleanliness. We were here for a week and the sheets were not changed even once during our stay. The balcony was untouched. The toilet base was also not cleaned from beginning of our stay. A little extra cleaning would have gone a long way. I enjoyed two hot showers and the rest were cold to luke warm. Staff were friendly.
