Torre a Cona is a stunning property. A palace castle in the middle of a gorgeous vineyard landscape. Peaceful and beautiful mornings with spectacular scenery. Friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel offers amazing experiences from horseback riding to truffle hunting and a cannot miss Tuscany cooking class. The gardens are gorgeous and the restaurant is top notch with a wonderful Metre Alessandro. A must wine tasting with lovely Beatrice. A 10 of 10 highly recommended.
My husband and I had an unforgettable stay at this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly special, surrounded by the lush, beautiful grounds that made for a truly serene atmosphere. One of our favorite parts was enjoying quiet spritz cocktails at the bar before dinnerâa perfect way to wind down. The on-site wine tour was a fantastic experience, allowing us to taste the different wines produced right there on the property. And the roomâwhat can I say? It was the best of our entire trip to Italy, with a shower that was simply to die for. Weâre already counting down the days until we can return!
The estate is very beautiful, absolutely stunning property! The room was nice and the staff were friendly. The only downside is the parking is a bit of a walk, and their golf part drove past us walking up the hill a few times without offering us a ride, but weâre young and able so maybe they thought we just didnât want or need a lift. It didnât impact our stay overall!
Torre a Cona was absolutely stunning to drive up to! The grounds were well manicured and the restaurant was the best food I had in Italy for the two weeks of traveling the country. Wine tasting tour was superb and the body massage perfect and overlooking the vineyards.
My Wife and I stayed at Torre A cona for 4 nights and were very pleased. We missed our chance at the lunch menu (Monday-Friday) unfortunately but allowed us to try almost every item on the dinner menu which never disappoints. We enjoyed wine tastings and walks around the property but most of Our days at the there were spent pool side where we had wine and ice cream. A day trip to Florence is easy and reception took care of all taxi requests. We look forward to our wine arriving that was shipped from them wine we were there.
One of the best vacation stays that we have ever experienced. Whatever fantasies anyone has had about a Tuscan getaway, this place completely embodies. The views, the ambiance, the service, and the features all come together to create the ideal Italian wine country vacation. A must do for anyone looking to holiday in the Tuscan country side!
Perfect stay for 4 nights. Staff were so friendly and the hotel is stunning. Taxiâs from the airport to hotel was around âŹ100 and from hotel to Florence centre âŹ50. I would recommend going into Florence for half a day during your stay. Food was delicious at the hotel and the restaurant staff were very friendly. I would recommend doing the wine tasting, vineyard tour and horse riding. 10/10 stay.
Staying at an old wine estate was truly unique guest experience! Peace and quiet, fantastic dining and wines, grand architecture. Just 20 min. away from the frenzy of Florence.
The staff was extremely helpful and professional. Many different activities are offered, such as truffle hunting, wine tasting, cooking classes, horseback riding. The restaurant is amazing! One night the restaurant was fully booked and we had to dine in the vaulted room in the main building and unfortunately the fire alarms went off for a long time.
I wish we were staying in the main building where the views over the surrounding lush vineyards and olive plantations would be amazing. Book early!!! The hotel was full and we stayed at a historic annex without a view.
