Beautifully built luxury cabin on a private 5 acre lot. The cozy cabin is located only 4.5 miles from Old Mans Cave. This charming cabin has everything you need for the perfect relaxing getaway while visiting the Hocking Hills. After action-packed days spent exploring local scenery, return home to fire up the grill for a sunset barbecue and soak in the hot tub.
-Sleeps 8, 2 private Bedrooms downstairs with Queen Beds, a Master Bedroom upstairs with a King Log Bed, and the upstairs loft (semi-private) also has a Queen Bed

Note we do have 3 cameras on the property. One over the basement door to make sure no one breaks into the basement. One over the stairs and the hot tub. This camera is only checked if there is damage to the hot tub and also to make sure no one is trying to get into the front when no one is there. One pointed at the back door again to make sure no break ins.

This was an awesome space for our family gathering! Such a beautiful cabin and fantastic hot tub. Also, the location was perfect right between the major trails in Hocking Hills. We definitely would go back if our journey takes us this way again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hemlock Cabin. Kim was very responsive to our questions. The location was great and close to Hocking Hills State Park and most hiking trails. The beds and furniture were comfortable and we loved the gas fireplace. There were two bathrooms but only one shower. The kitchen was minimally furnished with silverware, pans, dishes and the coffee pot was only 5 cups. For the cost we felt the furnishings overall should have been more updated and complete.

This is a beautiful and comfortable home. It’s very clean. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and you have control over the air. The setting is beautiful, they have outside string lights and wood for the fire pit. We were there to hike Hocking Hills, and this was a comfortable place to come “home” to. We had a bit of an issue with the hot tub the first night because the jets weren’t right, but the second night, it was fine except it was loud. When I called the host to let her know, she was more than accommodating and even offered a reimbursement for the inconvenience and said she’d be sending the maintenance man out to repair it. The host is really friendly and helpful. The one thing I didn’t like is that there was a tip envelope for the cleaner. To be clear, it didn’t say you had to tip. Since you have to strip beds and clean up and take the garbage out, I was surprised. I’ve always tipped hotel workers but was never asked in a VRBO. I left a tip but would have rather not been asked.

The cabin was beautiful the property was beautiful. The driveway is very steep so be prepared for that. First night at about 1 AM we had a bat in the upstairs area that then dived at my Mom’s head. We trapped it into the room by closing the door. I texted the manager at 8AM to let her know what’s going on. She had someone come out that found some holes but no bats. Although on the bed there was bat droppings where we shut the bat in. Just felt like Kim didn’t really take the situation very seriously by putting it on us that we needed to contact her in the middle of the night when the property manager that came said he wouldn’t have checked his messages anyway at that time. (When we came back he had caulked so many places shut where bats could have came in) Overall beautiful place! Just might have a few extra friends staying with you! Overall

The house is cute and clean, but we had a few issues. The listing boasts a secluded 5 acre property, however we were within visibility and heating range of other neighbors. On the first morning, one of our vehicles had hands and a face print on the back driver side window. I have a picture. The grill igniter did not work. The handsoap was very watered down. The kitchen lacks essential items like cooking spray and a spatula that isn't melted or chewed up. And then at the day of check out, my friends and i locked the door at 10:59 and the whole time we were cleaning and packing, someone, I'm guessing the owner or a cleaner, circled the driveway over and over until we left.

The cabin itself is a gem, but that's it when you go outside. There's a cliffs that you could easily fall off right in front of cabin,and the incline, to get to the cabin is Terrible. You will definitely need a truck. This is not accessible friendly. Could not use hot tub attack by bees.

This was a absolutely beautiful property.. i severely enjoyed myself.. wishni could have stayed longer.. only issue we had is it is not handicap/elder friendly.. lots of stairs.. i wasn't aware you dont have access to the ground level doors so a couple of my family members hand a difficult time getting around. Also its super slippery outside.. it is on a hill with a small cliff and the gravel makes it especially slippery
