When I stay at a hotel I expect cleanliness, comfort, a good shower and a working TV. This place is new so you would expect all the above.
1) I wonder how often they put a mop to the wood plank flooring?
2) three pillows for two people
3) no hand towels
4) no Kleenex
5) no bottle opener
6) no info provided for Wi-Fi. Had to go to front desk
7) without a doubt, the worst cable TV service I’ve ever encountered. For this reason alone I will never book at this hotel again. A simple “help” would be a printed channel guide. The remote did nothing that a remote is supposed to do. No channel guide. No return to previous channel. No information button function. The manager thought nothing of the fact that a guest ISN’T going to know what HE knows. Even if you do know or happen upon the channel where you find the menu of channel’s you will be surprised to find out you cannot scroll to the channel of your choice! Nooooo! That would be far too convenient. You must punch in the channel number. God forbid if you get it wrong because you have to do the insidious process all over again. More nonsensical than the ceiling lighting in my room.
Bottom line, too many things inconvenient and laborious about this place. NOT something I want to pay for when I’m on vacation. Perhaps the worst slap in the face was the managers inattentiveness to righting a wrong by giving me the room discount I requested to pacify my frustration and inconvenience. Bad form. Bad move. And bad place stay.
