This lovely apartment is on the first floor, with elevator, of an elegant building facing the famous Via del Babuino.



Recently renovated with particular taste and attention to details, the apartment is modern and very functional with parquet floor.



The Babuino Superior is an apartment with 6-meter high ceilings and consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with a mezzanine where in the lower part there is a double bed and at the top there is a double sofa bed. A bathroom, kitchen complete with a table with chairs to eat (max 6 people - 80 sqm).



The apartment is equipped with washing machine and the kitchen has refrigerator and everything you need to cook and eat.

All rooms are equipped with Internet WiFi, TV, Air Conditioning / Heating

The apartment comes complete with linen and towels for all guests.

The Best Neighborhood!

This was, honestly, the best neighborhood we could have imagined! The restaurants and shopping were incredible and we were walking distance to everything. The accommodations were nice and the check in process was very easy. Our hosts were also very easy to contact. I highly recommend this accommodation.

A wonderful place to stay when visiting Rome.

The accommodations were very nice, clean and with all the amenities needed for our 3 day stay. I honestly have to say that the location was excellent. It was a 2 minute walk to the Spanish steps and located in a clean very upscale neighborhood with every top brand retailer you can imagine. Some kitchen cabinets needed to be fixed but other than that it was fine.

This appartment was in the beat location, close to many sites and lots of resturaunts and stores (everything was withing walking distance. Italy was experiencing a heatwave and it sure was njce to come home after a ling day touring to a cool appartment with A/C.

Great apartment, but don't count on the Wi-Fi

Excellent location close to the Spanish Steps yet far away enough to be quiet. Grocery store just a few blocks away. Some issues could have been resolved in the welcome packet, like how to use the air conditioning and where to put the garbage/recycling, but the owner was friendly and responsive to all questions. Apartment shows signs of wear, but that is just a cosmetic issue. The Wi-Fi signal is very weak and unreliable, even when sitting right next to the router; we ended up using the slow (but working) Wi-Fi signal from what we assume was a nearby store. Note that there is a clothes washer but no dryer or clothesline.

Overall, not impressed with our stay

Main Highlights: Excellent location; Excellent water pressure; Good A/C regulation where unit located; Quiet location. Main Dissatisfiers: Poor maintenance; poor cleanliness; bad smell in primary bedroom; poor range of wi-fi. General: The bathroom shower was showing signs of neglect with mildew setting in. The shower mat has most likely not been change in a long time, as the underside was completely covered in mildew. Both the shower and sink drain had slow drainage often pooling water. The primary bedroom had an overwhelming musty smell (think old damp wet basement), that was not resolvable. We had to leave our clothes either in our suitcase or the other room, so the smell would not get into our clothes. The photos – moderately accurate representation of the space, however it is not that well-lit in reality. Even with all the lights on, during the day, we could never get the apartment to look that bright. Definitely NOT recently renovated. The range of the internet is lacking, and strong connectivity does not extend past the kitchen. Communication with the host was average. However, it would have been nice to know that the building exterior was undergoing maintenance, and that work started at 7am. This affected our ability to sleep in, and open our windows. Apartment location was excellent. If you are a first time tourist to Rome, and want to do all the major sites, this was an ideal location. Much of the attractions were walking distance.

Apartamento céntrico y silencioso, ideal para descansar

El apartamento es como aparece en las fotos. No obstante, es más apropiado para 4 personas que para 6. No tiene sala de estar o comedor, por eso digo que es más apropiado para descansar, no para hacer vida de familia. La mesa está en el comedor, y es para 4 personas. La cocina está bien equipada, pero también pensando más en 4 personas, pues hay pocos vasos y tazas, y le conviene una renovación de los electrodomésticos. Camas muy cómodas. El apartamento es interior, no da a la calle, por lo que no se oye nada. Silencio y camas facilitan e reposo. Un único baño, pequeñito pero suficiente. Ducha con buena presión del agua. Buen aire acondicionado en las dos habitaciones. Como aspectos a mejorar están el wifi (es tan débil que casi es inoperante) y la limpieza de la cocina. Está ubicado en calle de tiendas de lujo, entre las estaciones de metro de Spagna (la más próxima) y la piazza del popolo (Flaminio). Por el Popolo también hay paradas de autobuses.

GREAT Location, Safe, Quiet, and Fantastic AC

I opted for VRBO as the price was great along with a bigger space than the usual hotel. Our must-haves were Safety, Great AC, Ideal Location to metro and sites, and Washer. Another review talked about the place being a bit rundown. I guess the floors can use a redo and the walls some fresh paint but that was not a priority for us. The beds were comfortable. Yes, there really isn't a living room space unless you want to hang out in the loft upstairs. We did not spend much time in the apartment except for sleeping and taking a siesta in the afternoon from the HOT sun. The Wifi was slower than normal but doable. I had some work to do (1-2 hours per day) and it was good enough but I would not recommend working with this wifi for a FULL day unless you have incredible patience. We were able to check in early after a long flight. Pay attention to the keys, There are two sets and we got a little confused when we took the second set when opening the main door (The lock is a bit tricky but doable). I would NOT make this a deal-breaker. Anyhow. We contacted the manager at midnight as we were having problems and he was available. So on one set, the silver key opens the first door and on the other set, the blue key opens the same door. (3 doors total to enter; thus very safe) There is a couple of flight of stairs and a lift. We used the stairs since the place was on the second floor. There were windows that opened to the courtyard but not the streets. The Washer was easy to use. I would recommend using the spin cycle after each wash, easy to hang clothes to dry upon drying rack or upon hangers. Clothes dried within 24 hours or less. There is one bathroom and the shower pressure was great! This place advertises that it sleeps 6. The loft is in the same room as the downstairs Bed which opens to the kitchen. This would be a great place for families (A couple with 2 children) Maybe 2 sets of couples who are very close friends or 3 people who can travel WELL together. I did appreciate the host setting us up with a driver to pick us up at the airport. The place is VERY close to the metro (Spanish Steps & Flaminio) 5 minutes away. Favorite restaurant (Il Gabriello) & favorite dessert place (Pompi Tiramisù). I wrote this review in hopes of helping other travelers like myself find what they are looking for. Can't beat this location!

Just a few short blocks from the bottom of the Spanish Steps, absolutely fabulous location. We were enticed by the great photos of the apartment so really didn't focus on the fact that there isn't a living area to sit in, just bedrooms and a small, cramped kitchen. The apartment is very clean, though run down, lots of clutter. Kitchen has seen better days. AC and washer were a plus.
