Everything was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great location and very close to the terminal but in a bit of a sketchy area but not too bad. Biggest advantage was it being 2 min away from the terminal for getting back to the airport and walking 15 min to Monti and 20-25 min to the city centre
When i ready to come to the hotel, he was very rude to us, he complainted us to come the hotel too early which was 1:30 pm. try to ask him possible to leave the luggages. he said no. we decided to cancel and walked out the hotel Found another one Colosseum hotel. Much better service and very safe area by the train station.,
The room itâs self is fine you get what you pay for I canât complain to much small size room nothing crazy I wish there was option for more pillows the ones there were very unsupportive but the tv and bathroom were good I also really liked the electric locks and the access to the property made us feel abit safer. The outside surrounding area is very dodgy we didnât feel safe at all to walk around unless necessary and there is nothing around the place like convenience stores or places to eat except for the train station right across the road which has a food court style eatery that was nice and having the station across is very convenient also. Good for short stays but I would definitely consider something in a nicer area if you are staying more then 2 nights.
Room #5
Positives: Very convenient location, plenty of hot water and the room was clean enough.
Negatives: No checkin flexibility, as it is virtual checkin. Room door codes didn't work, had to wait even more time to get it resolved. The room description showed black out curtains, wardrode/drawers , sound proofing and a safe. The curtains and wardrobe didn't exist. The safe was very small, locked and not attached to anything, so not usable. The walls are paper thin, as I could hear the people next door talking in normal voices. They would have had to whisper in order for me not to hear their conversation.
Lesson learned: Need to make sure the property has more than 4 reviews before believing...
Clean and updated room. Great for families. We stayed 4 and it was helpful to have four beds in one room. If you book last minute you need to call them to get the code.
We stayed in room 7 on the 3rd floor. There is no number sign on the door so by process of elimination we selected the door and punched in our code not knowing if we were attempting to punch into someone elseâs room.
We were with our two children and had a room with a large bed and a sofa bed. The sofa was made up as a bed for us but the section that pulled out to make it a bed was broken and would not stay up. There was no toilet paper in the room when we arrived. We messaged the hotel about both these issues and never got a response.
My children came up with a clever solution to make the sofa bed work but it was not very comfortable for them. My husband had to go across the street to buy toilet paper when we first arrived.
One of the windows was broken and didnât close properly.
There is a small kitchenette with cooktop, kettle, utensils, and dishes but no mini fridge which seemed odd and necessary add on. The utensil drawer in the kitchen hit the door and would not open unless the door to the room was opened.
The bathroom had a terrible stink that you could smell throughout the room, even with the door closed.
The proximity to the termini was great but the area felt a little unsafe with many homeless people outside.
The design was nice and the high ceilings made up for the small footprint of the space. They could use some more clothes storage; perhaps putting drawers below the tv rather than a useless tv unit.
Our AC worked well - big plus in the July heat!
