The staff are nice and approachable, easy to talk to, especially of you have questions. The single room that I have is quite small but tidy, for me it is efficient and enough for resting for I mostly was out of the hotel. I just wish there is at least a bag breakfast for those who go out early. Also, it is a little bit hard to find, but good to have the the telephone number in advance for they are responsive.

The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was very good. The room was very basic, but clean. The shower was terrible, though. I had little water pressure and it was either cold or scalding hot. However, my friend in another room said his shower was fine. The area was less than desirable, So I would not recommend walking alone at night.
The entrance to the building is locked with bars. The hotel is on the 7th and 8th floors of an apartment building and you have to ring to be let in.

Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was clean. Price was low. Location was conveniently located near public transportation. Soon after I purchased the room on Expedia, I received a message from the hotel suggesting I upgrade to one of their recently renovated rooms for 10 euros more per night. I did so and was happy with the choice. The one negative was the weak water pressure in the room that made showers challenging but still possible.

The bed was super uncomfortable, noise from the street did not allow me to sleep. They ask you to go to front desk each time you go out to leave the keys, so anytime you want to get back into your room you have to wait in line to get it if there are people ahead of you. Really ugly neighborhood. The hotel was hard to find because sign is super small and inside a building that carries other businesses and residential apartments. Also they lock the front door at 2:00 am and you are pushed to comeback to your room before that time even you are in vacation. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at this location. Go and find a safer place.

Clean room, very kind staff, close to train station, and bus lines, and a good breakfast. 24 hour reception. My room was a bit simpler than the one in the presentation. Keep in mind this is a 2-star hotel, so the Excellent rating is given from a value for money for a 2-star hotel. Will for sure return, next time in Rome.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Easy walk to the bus. We bought bus tickets across the street at the store which also sold some bakery and deli items. Large grocery store next door which also had a hot deli. Restaurants were within two blocks.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here!! I found bed bugs in my room, which was awful. When I told the staff, they were friendly but didn’t really help — all they did was clean the room again. On top of that, the shower had no hot water. The staff were nice enough, but the way the bed bug problem was handled (or rather, not handled) was really poor. Do not stay here and you will have a better trip to Rome.

Staff were helpful and professional. Room looks nothing like in the photos -- or perhaps it did 20 years ago. Outdated, poor condition and poorly maintained. Only a drizzle of water from the shower; one of the sink taps not working; uncomfortable bed; shutters barely open; window rattles. I'd intended to take breakfast, but didn't trust it on seeing the condition of the room.

The cleanliness, the service and the nicest niceness of it all makes up for the somewhat not so nice neighborhood, but having said that one is very close to all modes of transportation, so I will return on my next trip to Rome

The water pressure was very low and only sometimes got hot water. Also, the building is outdated, and was very weird to get into the building. You have to buzz into the “apartment” building then take an elevator up to the 7th floor. Also, hard to sleep because it’s so noisy, lots of honking on the street, construction, sounded like the window was open but it wasn’t. However, the location was good because it was close to the bus stop and train station.

A bit expensive for the poor overall experience

Positive : good location, welcoming staff, clean room Negative : noisy cleaning staff in the morning, difficult to sleep after 8am, the shower was not working properly. You had to press a button continuously for the shower head to spray water. The shower drain does not empty properly and the air freshener does not smell very good.
