The good part is that the hotel is conveniently located next to the train station, walkable from the ferry and easily accessible to the pedestrian mall restaurants and shops. It is however a brisk 15 minute walk to the historic center. The bad part is that the hotel is tired looking, there is no elevator so bags have to be lugged up flights of stairs, the breakfast offered lots of pastries but no protein, not even boiled eggs. Espresso was from a push button machine. I wished i looked into the other hotel that was nearby.

Great Stay in Salerno

Very good hotel. breakfast suited us perfectly and staff were really friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is literally next to the train station, we were not disturbed at all. Many places to eat close by and supermarkets within 10-15 minute walk. Ideal base for exploring the area and Amalfi Coast by train, bus or ferry.

This hotel is literally adjacent to the train station (its the same building). The amenities are very poor, but the staff is super friendly and nice. Breakfast options were very good.

THE BEST VALUE IN SALERNO

Right by the train station, a great place to get a quick nights rest, and leave our stuff while we went on a private boat ride. Tons of parking withing a 10 minute walk. Staff was night. Remember, you get what you pay for, and for 130Euro it was a STEAL

Hotel Bruman was is in a convenient location, right next to the train station and very close to the main shopping street., about a 20-minute walk to the old-town. The breakfast was very good and staff were very helpful. The down-side was that being near the train station it's quite noisy, there was also a bright light in the neighboring building that was left on all-night right outside our window, black-out blinds would be helpful to make sleeping easier.

Friendly staff, super convenient to the train station (basically attached to it), clean and well air conditioned rooms. The staff at the front desk gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area. We booked this place super last minute as we had a change in travel plans, and it worked out well! I'd say this place is best for a quick stop in Salerno, if you plan to stay longer I would find somewhere not so close to the train station and in a cuter area. But the hotel itself is well kept and cute!
