Property was very convenient to everything. Backyard was great bonus for relaxing with family and letting the kids have a bit of space to play. Plenty of towels and beach chairs. Washer/dryer were definite bonus. Would definitely look at booking here again.
The pictures online are very cute but we were disappointed. We stayed only 2 nights and moved to a hotel for our 2.5 week family vacation in OC. The house was very hot and the windows couldn't be opened. The backhouse was too hot as well. The portable AC units didn't work well. The owner promptly brought more portable AC units but they barely cooled the extremely hot house. The power in the back house kept going off. And the house was overall grimy and in very poor condition (everything was very old and haphazardly painted over or in need of replacement/renovation). The owner responded quickly at first, then quit responding when we asked for a refund. He immediately relisted the property once we left. The owner refunded us for one night of our stay, but we would like a refund for the remaining 17 nights since the property was uninhabitable. Our visit at the hotel was cool, clean, comfortable, close to the beach and half the price. We won't be renting from Tower 17 again. Hope this review helps others not to make the same mistake.
This house is wonderful. The location is incredible - it is steps from the heart of Del Mar St in San Clemente, and a short, easy stroll to the beach at the pier. It is perfectly appointed, very functional, great hot tub, and handy driveway and garage. 10/10. Highly recommend.
