Sunset Cliffs is known for its picturesque, panoramic views of the Pacific along with its abundance of unique bluffs and sheer cliffs. Known as "The Boat House", this home will make you feel like you've escaped onto an immaculate yacht newly redesigned and updated with modern furnishings. Its traditional "ship style" kitchen is custom-built to complement its exterior boat-like appeal. This home has all you need to enjoy a vacation to remember with memories you won't forget. Sunset Cliffs is known for its picturesque views, rather than its easy beach access. Beach access involves moderate climbing down trail paths. While surfing is permitted, swimming is prohibited.
The closest swimmable beach is Ocean Beach City Beach- 1.2 mil
Central A/C is on 2nd floor only; central heat is on both floors.
Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.
This home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices.
We supply a starter pack of paper goods and cleaning products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, multi-purpose spray, hand & dish soap, and shower sets.
You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.
Max adults is 8 if it is an all adults group.

Neighborhood Notes:
Sunset Cliffs is San Diego's one and only Natural Park expanding over a mile long full of sandstone cliffs along Point Loma's Peninsula. Point Loma is a family-friendly neighborhood with historical charm. Neighboring Ocean Beach, this area has a variety of local shops, restaurants, and a bustling lifestyle. Ocean Beach is ideal for family beach days and swimming in the ocean. Point Loma provides easy access to Sea World (just minutes away), The San Diego Zoo & Balboa Park (15-20 mins.), SAN airport, and downtown - making it the ideal spot for exploring San Diego's lively city life!

Incredible Home - Photos Don't Do It Justice!

We had an amazing stay at The Boat House (S1295) at Sunset Cliffs. The home was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for our group of 13 to spread out comfortably without ever feeling crowded. The layout worked really well for a larger group, and the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The backyard/frontyard (with the grass) was a highlight - absolutely amazing and perfect for relaxing and spending time together. Communication was easy from start to finish, and the hosts were very responsive whenever we had questions. Overall, this was a fantastic stay and we would absolutely recommend it. 10/10 experience!

This home is perfect for a family vacation. The front deck with fire pit was where we hung out in the evenings. Sunset is spectacular, right across the street. There were 11 of us from age 11 mos. - 70 and everyone had a comfortable bed. We would definitely stay at this home again.

Fantastic family stay

It was a family get together with my kids and grandkids to enjoy each other's company. This house was perfect for our get together! The rooms were perfect! Large functional kitchen, great game room, outdooseating, beautiful location.hot tub. I would definitely book this place again!

We were in Point Loma for a family wedding at The Thursday Club and this rental was perfect! Beautiful view and great location for seeing the sights in San Diego with good parking. Plenty of room for family members to have their own space and privacy and then come together to enjoy each others company - we give it 5 stars!

Wow, we absolutely loved our stay at The Boat House! The house was perfect for our trip with 3 families. Everything was so clean and inviting! Perfect property for a group

Beautifully appointed and decorated property in a fantastic location. This house has something for everyone—gated parking, hot tub, game room, views, great deck and plenty of TVs to watch multiple football games at the same time. Hosts are very responsive and service oriented. Highly recommend!!

We stayed at this amazing property and had an incredible time. Not only was it beautiful on the inside, but it was also just as incredible to spend time in the outside space. The beds were really comfortable, tons of space to entertain and have fun and the most incredible views of the ocean to enjoy every night. Beautiful home & well kept. High end appliances & well stocked kitchen. Bedrooms large,airy,& nicely decorated - but a few, including Master,had no closet!!Unfortunately,near by beaches were not great - too much seaweed & not easily accessible. Overall, a great house with great views - terrific for a large family.$$$!

This property was amazing, we enjoyed the stay and couldn't have been happier, host was great to work with and accommodating. We definitely will be back and recommend this place to anyone staying in the San Diego area. Comfort and security all around spectacular home with incredible views. The best Sunset we have ever seen!

Beautiful home with a brilliant Sunset View! Could have not asked for a more clean, spacious, stylish home to stay with our family. Multiple bedrooms with individual bathrooms was great to have. We truly enjoyed the front porch fire pit sunsets. Magical. Walking distance from beach and our course the Cliffs. The home had everything we needed and then some. It made our trip from New York to San Diego one to remember!

House was absolutely wonderful and perfect for our family vacation! We loved the location, plenty of available parking, multiple entertainment spaces that were enjoyable for all ages. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook multiple meals. Check-in and out were easy and host was very accommodating. I only noted two slight annoyances I would remedy but these were in no way major issues.. Bathrooms need hooks on the walls and in the showers. Multiple daily hot tub trips and beach trips but nowhere to hang up swimsuits and towels. One towel rod per bathroom is not enough for a house that sleeps 14. Shower pressure in the upstairs showers was miserable. Downstairs had an adjustable shower head and that shower was glorious! Would recommend switching out shower heads.

Amazing location and views!

The Boathouse is exactly as described! Lots of room and fully furnished, the Boathouse is beautiful from top to bottom. Laundry room had detergent, bathrooms had extra TP and plenty of towels. The location is fantastic and close to many major sights and the views from the Cliffs are super. What a way to start the day! House is also walkable to the local downtown with cafes, restaurants and Rite Aid. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Absolutely no complaints!
