Neighborhood:
Dolores Heights is centrally located between the Castro, Noe Valley and the Mission. It includes Mission Dolores -- the oldest building in San Francisco, and Dolores Park -- one of the most popular parks in the city. As you may know, the Castro (centered 4 blocks west) is the historic gay center of San Francisco -- it features restaurants, bars, the Castro Theater, shopping, and an ever-increasing number of coffee shops and day spas. The Mission (centered 3 blocks east) is a historically Latino neighborhood. It, too, features restaurants, bars, the Roxie Theater, shopping and an ever-increasing number of coffee shops and boutiques.


Access:
Private entrance to your own efficiency studio (including bathroom) - this is not just a room in a house! You will be assigned a unique code that you can use to access the unit at any time during your stay: no keys needed.

Transit:
San Francisco has excellent public transportation, and all of it is easily accessible from here.
The Muni J-Church line is two blocks away and will take you downtown; it also connects with other lines that can take you to virtually any part of SF. The Castro and Church stations are four blocks away.

The 22, 24, 33, and F all stop within 2-4 blocks of the apartment and will take you to various parts of the city.

BART is also nearby -- the 16th & Mission station is only five blocks away.

There is a bike share station 18th and Dolores street 3 blocks away. In fact, everything you need is easily walkable, so you don't need a car.

If you do have a car, free on-street parking is available. Parking spots are typically ample, and with notice you can use the private spot in front of the driveway. However, there is a 2-hour parking limit for non-resident vehicles from 8am to 9pm Monday through Friday. That means you need to move your car every two hours during the day. Nights are easier -- if you park your car after 7pm you can leave it there until 10am the next morning.

All that being said, temporary parking permits are available. They eliminate the 2-hour restriction so that you can park all day. Please contact us for availability and pricing.


Notes:
You can stay up to 28 days with us, and we will provide you with fresh towels and bedding, soap, coffee, etc. as often as you request it ;)

Please feel free to consult the house manual (click on 'itinerary'), which can be accessed through the AirBnB website as soon as you book the studio.

For your information: there are two apartments above the studio; you may intersect with the neighbors living above in the stairs area. The neighbors are respectful and quiet. The unit is mostly soundproof, but you may occasionally hear people walking upstairs (as is usually the case in apartments)

Lovely stay in a sweet neighborhood.

Here is a very comfortable studio, efficient with many nice appointments. Located on a quiet block, it is within a short walking distance of the beautiful Dolores Park, as well as many great restaurants. Public transportation also close by. Russ was welcoming and a timely communicator. I enjoyed my week long stay very much and would happily return.

Wonderful stay in Dolores Park!

My stay at this studio near Dolores Park was perfect! Russ was a great Communicator, we had no problems finding the place or checking in! The studio was exactly what we needed for a weekend in San Francisco. Russ was always available if we needed anything, and gave us some great recommendations for where to eat! Additionally this studio is centrally located to almost all public transit so we had no issues getting around. Will definitely book again if we are in SF!

great location!

Great host!

My friend and I wanted a quick get away to San Francisco, but didn’t want to stay in the heart of the city. This rental, steps away from public transportation and Dolores Park, was perfect! Russ was very accommodating with an early check in and provided us with great recommendations for the area. The unit was clean and exactly what we expected. Can't beat Noe Valley location

This is a very small studio but well-appointed, with great shower - that has a location that can't be beat, steps from Dolores Park. The owner was very helpful with recommendations for pizza, ice cream, bakeries, all that is walkable in or near Noe Valley, and any questions re the studio apartment - and even provided us an update with rainy day activities.

A perfect place to say for a working week in San Francisco

Great location to spend a working week in town. Accurately described and super convenient to walk around and get around the city as needed. It doesn't have a desk for working but I was able to do shorter working sessions using the coffee table, but preferred to get out when I could. Host was helpful and reached out proactively to make sure everything was okay.

Fabulous Studio
