Beautiful family/kid friendly modern penthouse apartment with private rooftop located at Villas del Mar Beach Resort with views to the ocean from almost every angle.
Conveniently located just 30 min. from San Juan Int. Airport with pool and semi-private beach.
Accommodates 5 adults. 2 bedrooms (3 beds), 1 bathroom, laundry room with washer and dryer, ocean view terrace and balconies.
Air conditioning units in every room as well as in the living room and kitchen areas. Wi-Fi and Flat Screen TV, cable, DVD/BlueRay player with Netflix are all included.
Walking distance to the beach.
This beautiful Beach Resort has two pools, a Jacuzzi, gym, tennis, basketball and beach volleyball courts.

Two left lanes merge into Hwy. 66 East Canovanas / Fajardo.
Pass toll using AutoExpresso lane if your rental car has their decal, if not use the right lane to be able to pay with cash or card.
Take Exit # 14 North PR-188 Loiza / Rio Grande / Canovanas.
Cross PR-3 and Continue on PR-188 San Isidro / Loiza until the end.
Turn right on PR-187 East towards Rio Grande and continue until the Km. 22.6 mark on the left side of the road.
After the Km. 22.6 mark look to your left for
the Farmacia MedianĂ­a billboard.
Make a left on that street and continue to the end of the street.

Use the middle lane and identity yourselves with the Security Guard.
The apartment number is H-402.
After the guard drive straight to the next to
last building on your right, look for the parking spot label H-402. **** January 2024 update **** after last huracĂĄn season because of high tide, complex fence to beach was damage, now complex is working if rebuild and processing law permits, so direct access to beach is closed because of safety, beach access still open is walking around the complex 7-8 minutes walk, using the street at the left side of complex.

On a secluded beach!

The condo was beautiful, clean, and had a private rooftop deck! The beach is secluded and the pools were clean. If you enjoy soaking up the sun and an unclouded beach, this is a great place! Host was very responsive. Takes about 30 min to rainforest and 30 min to San Juan. Excellent restaurant just 3 minutes from the resort and a well stacked grocery and convenience store just outside of the resort. Loved it!

Perfect!

We had an amazing stay! The condo was beautiful, the decor, and the view from the balcony. Steps to the beach. We enjoyed sunbathing and swimming in the warm water. The attentiveness of the owners and attention to detail put the icing on the cake. They made our stay even more special. The second level rooftop balcony was nice in the evenings. Great breeze and no mosquitoes. We would definitely stay there again!

This property is not beach front or a resort. Not well maintained either. Condos with little upkeep

When we first got there we noticed visible mold outside in the hallways on the ceiling. When we entered the apartment there was a smell of mold inside as well and we found that the dishes, pots and pans had water and mold build up on some. There was water stains in the cabinets as well and after a couple days we had a build up of water in the entire laundry room and out into the kitchen as well. We didn’t cook or use the laundry room for about 5 days until the owner came by to fix that. Later the AC unit in the living room started to leak pretty bad and dripped all over the TV and onto the floor below as well. We spent several days constantly soaking up the water in the laundry room with towels and ringing them out before the problem was fixed. As far as amenities go, at both pools all of the lounge chairs are broken, and there is next to no upkeep around the property. We attempted to use the gym once and that was the last time as it was a disaster. Everything in it was broken and a hazard. The playground they have there was broken down as well. My 11 year old son busted his butt on the swings when they broke mid swing. Nothing is maintained here and it’s not a resort. It is just apartment/condo living. Right down the street is Aquatica and that is an actual resort.

Relaxing Beach Stay

I traveled with my partner and 13-year-old daughter over Easter break to this apartment in Loiza. It is a bit off the beaten track as it is about 30 minutes from San Juan airport but worth the travel if you enjoy peace and quiet. We had a beautiful beach all to ourselves during the week and on the weekend it was a bit busier with families. Nothing like the packed hotel beaches of San Juan. The apartment is clean and has all of the basics you would need for your travels. The pictures were accurate. The laundry closet held an assortment of inflatables, beach toys, cooler, and chairs. Beach towels and bath towels were provided. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace with its ocean view for cocktails. The two main-level balconies were nice for people watching a bit. The beds were comfortable and my teen liked the tv subscriptions for Netflix, Disney, etc. The property was quiet and the security at the gate was professional and polite. You will need a rental car if you are going to explore the area. There is a market within walking distance that sells enough grocery items to get by but I preferred driving 15 minutes to a bigger store. El Yunque, Old San Juan, catamaran cruises, snorkeling trips, and horseback riding options were all within about a 35-minute drive.

Pictures were accurate, beds were comfortable. Location was ok, should have done more research to stay closer to things we wanted to do (Luquillo Beach). Complex seemed safe, pool was small but nice and didn't have a lot of charirs, beach also small and nice for a short period of time, no beach umbrella at the home and the chairs were camp chairs not beach chairs. My kids loved the footballs to bring to the beach! Nice unit overall.

Nice semi private beach.

Photos are correct depiction of the property. The check in/out process was painless and Antonio was attentive to all communications. The trek through a neighborhood is deceiving, but when you finally get to your destination you will be satisfied. All in all, i would easily stay here again, it felt like a home away from home.

Great place @ Loiza!

It was a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment! Very spacious, comfortable for a family of 4, 2 kids. Great ocean view and space with privacy on the top deck. Mind you, it’s a penthouse, 4th floor, all stairs and no elevators but not really a problem for us. Comes with beach access and pool access which my kids love. It was clean, beds are comfy, 2 baths was a big plus and they have towels and beach stuff for use. Easy drive from the airport, very safe and secure neighborhood. It’s a short drive away from all the places we wanted to see, mainly Old San Juan and the east region of PR including Luquillo, El Yunque and Fajardo. There’s a pharmacy on the corner before turning to the neighborhood that has everything you will need. We also ate at a nearby restaurant La Parilla, which was very good.
