Weekend get away

Friendly staff, clean room, breakfast good, the made to order waffle was delicious, bagels cream cheese, scrambled eggs. Orange juice, muffins, cereal. They have an.italian restaurant attached, authentic family recipes. Excellent. Really liked walking from.our room to the restaurant for dinner. Full bar.

This place was okay for an overnight stay. The breakfast was good. The guy at check in was sullen and unfriendly. The walls and ceiling had weird stains and I feel like someone needs to go in there and sponge them down. No one wants to see brown stains on the wall.

Convenient location but a bit run down. Room was clean but the rooms need an upgrade. Dresser was missing a handle, chair had leather peeling off the top, telephone on the desk doesn’t work. Carpets outside on the walkway upstairs are old and faded.

Good price for short stay, but outside window wouldn't lock, A/C barely worked, bathroom fan sounded like it was about to fall apart (very noisy), sink stopper was lying in a corner on the bathroom floor, bathroom walls and ceiling were disintegrating, bedroom carpet, mattress shape and furniture looked 40 years old. Having said that, the room and bathroom were clean (although smelled a bit moldy). I liked that the room had a mini-frig, but this property is in serious need of a facelift and upgrade...explains the low price. The on-site cafe closed at 8:30 pm (Friday), so when I arrived that evening, it was 5 min too late. The breakfast on Sunday was minimal, continental, and without things like hot water/tea, peanut butter....no protein to be found. Eek...this restaurant needs new, creative management!

Disappointing stay

Room clean, but bed uncomfortable, one pillow flat and lumpy and the other hard and overfilled. Shower had no place to put soap. Breakfast very disappointing with limited not very tasty options. Desk person helpful and friendly.

Surprisingly Quiet on a Busy Street

Room was surprisingly quiet for being located between busy roads. Continental breakfast was fairly basic but nicely laid out. Excellent staff, very nice & prompt. Bed frame made a bit of noise every time you got up & down, but otherwise very clean & comfortable enough for us. Would stay here again
