Sneaky pricing policies

It is a very nice place. However a couple things impact the experience in a big negative fashion. First the windows in our room were filthy, like they have t been washed outside for 20 years. Second was the check out surprise of a $34 per night "Destination Fee" A sneaky way to gouge customers without being upfront about pricing. And it has nothing to do with a destination. Its for wifi and basic everyday hotel services. It is a very unethical way to increase their price.

This is a beautiful hotel. Felt very “fancy” for us. Valet parking, 17 stories, chandeliers, nice bar/restaurant in the lobby, etc. Staff were so nice and helpful here. The rooms are clean and QUIET. The trolley car goes on the street in front of the hotel. I really loved staying here.

The service levels at this hotel were excellent! It is an older property with somewhat dated bathrooms, but it has a lot of charm. Also the staff and cleanliness made it worth returning.
