This hotel was very charming! The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very clean and quiet. We felt safe during our stay. The best part, this hotel was so close to Chinatown and Union Station. Walking distance !! We will definitely stay here again!

This is a tired property with finishes refreshed. While the bathrooms and some surfaces seem to have been updated, the walls/doors/woodwork are in mostly dreadful condition. The bed was decent. There is no ac (usually not needed in SF) but opening the windows exposes you to the usual nighttime screaming and shouting that is common to the street life on Sutter Street. The front desk staff were fine, but the extended family hanging out at the tables near the front desk may or may not be to your taste. Coffee machine in room did not work properly, the pods exploded and created a big mess. So, in the end, I got a reasonable good sleep, but would not recommend this hotel.

GREAT LOCATION

Quaint, restored boutique hotel, dark hallways, small room. Furniture very nice, bed adequate. Smelled good, very clean. Only coffee in the mornings. GREAT LOCATION!

Never stay here again!

Room was awful. It was dusty and there were flies on a daily basis. I know not to stay there ever again. The room was small. Overall the place was not to my liking. I will NOT recommend this place to any friends/family. Only thing positive was the location.
