Hi Coe. Thanks for staying at The Cartwright Hotel Union Square, where you never pay a resort or urban fee. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. Our location is very close and convenient if using public transit. MUNI buses, streetcars, cable cars and BART service are all within short walking distance. A car is not required to get around and explore the city. Cheers!

Staff was friendly. Check in at 11:00 and they gave us a room right away even though check in time is 3:00pm

The room itself was as expected, small but updated. The hallway and stairs area was very creepy and dark and parking is inconvenient
