I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, the service was beyond disappointing. Pros: The hotel is beautifully designed, with a cute, boutique feel, and it’s very trendy. The food was also quite good. Cons: We stayed for SIX nights and only received housekeeping service for ONE day, despite requesting it for every day of our stay. We quickly ran out of toilet paper and other essentials, and it was incredibly frustrating to keep asking for more when we were paying top dollar for this experience. When we mentioned this to the staff, we were told that housekeeping needed to be scheduled 24 hours in advance, which made absolutely no sense since we had requested it upon check-in. Parking is also off site a few blocks over and unfortunately you have to walk through some spots where we were witnessing people actively using drugs. We heard gunshots one night nearby. We ordered room service using the provided sheet, and it was more than an hour late. The TV had consistent issues, losing signal and being delayed. We even mentioned it was my partner’s birthday when we booked, and not only did we not get any special treatment, but the service we received was downright awful. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I get that the industry can be tough, but it felt like this hotel cares more about appearances than actually providing a good experience. Honestly, it felt like staying at a motel with a fresh coat of makeup. Super disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it.

Poitives outweigh the negatives

This was my second time at the hotel. It is a great location. The bar and restaurant attached are great as well. The decor is fabulous. A few negatives - The windows need to be upgraded. It is a VERY busy street and the windows are single pane and you can hear everything. The bed was not comfortable but I was so tired, it didn't matter. I requested an ironing board and it took over an hour to get it. But please know I would stay there again for all the positives outweighed the negatives.

I love the quaint, pleasantly old-fashioned vibe of the room. It’s clean and comfortable and it’s fronting the Pike Market entrance, which the main tourist attraction of the area. Although the room is facing the street, the noise is tolerable. The hotel is close to most tourist destinations in the area and there’s the abundance of dining and shopping options. The hotel doesn’t have a parking space of its own but there is a public parking 3 blocks away at a discounted rate.

Not horrible, just not worth the price. My room layout was inconvenient (the sink was on the opposite side of the room from the toilet/shower). There was barely any countertop space for anything. I could hear all the footsteps from the floor above me. There is a $20 fee they charged me daily as a “destination fee” which I didn’t know about - and no, I didn’t use room service or housekeeping. I don’t think I would stay here again for the price honestly! The bed was comfy, the shower was lovely.

Amazing location

Booked my hotel at last minute, glad that I stayed here. Great location, very close to the market with tons of restaurants. Staffs are friendly and room is clean. Very cozy feeling.

Love the Palihotel! The vintage vibe gives it an exquisite experience when staying there. Only concern was the water pressure in the walk in shower. Other than that amazing hotel! Will stay there again

Great location; a few downsides

Pros: Location for downtown Seattle to-do’s is perfect! We were able to visit Pike’s Place Market, the Original Starbucks, the Space Needle, and grab dinner at Sushi Kashiba in one day because of the convenient location to the hotel! Staff are friendly and helpful in giving advice on how to navigate the city. Cons: Due to the age of the building, the elevator was very slow and the water pressure was intermittent. There were a few times that the room was without water pressure throughout our 2 night stay. This made it difficult to flush the toilet or take a shower. Parking is located in a garage about 2 blocks from the hotel. Although easy to access, the elevator was out of service which prompted a four-story walk up stairs every time we needed the car which could be time-consuming and difficult for those with physical limitations.
