Tucked just off Stowe's scenic Main Street, The Vermont House is a beautifully restored historic farmhouse that blends timeless Vermont character with thoughtful modern updates. From its original wood beams and wide plank floors to its cozy nooks and updated kitchen, this home was designed for gatherings, connection, and comfort — in every season.

With 4 spacious bedrooms and 3.5 baths, there's plenty of room for families, couples, or friends to spread out and settle in. Whether you're curled up by the fire after a day on the slopes, cooking a holiday meal in the farmhouse kitchen, or sipping coffee on the porch surrounded by fall foliage, The Acorn House wraps you in warmth and ease.
Located just steps from the Stowe Bike Path, restaurants, shops, and the free shuttle to Stowe Mountain Resort, you won't need to move your car once you arrive. The village is literally at your doorstep.

In the fall, enjoy vibrant foliage walks, cider tastings, and golden mountain sunsets. In winter, come home to a fire after skiing, snowshoeing, or wandering through Stowe's twinkling holiday streets.

Amy was welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. She also was able to provide solid recommendations for food and happy hour. The house was large and roomy, plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 kids.

This home was impeccably clean. We were welcomed with a bag of local ground coffee and pancake mix. Everything in Stowe is in very close proximity to this home; almost all within an easy walk. Parking is easy. Beds and all the furniture is comfortable and as I said at the outset, clean and well maintained. Such a lovely traditional home in the actual heart of Stowe. Can’t say enough good things!!
