My room had stuffy odour so I changed room for 2nd night. Hotel could do with refreshing but close to Opera House, the Rocks and train ... convenient for my stay.

15 min walk to CBD, 3 min to ferry . Very friendly staff. Couldn’t see wheelchair access at the main entrance. Physical hard copy of menu & services would be handy. No Minibar. One tap broken. Enjoyed my stay. Would recommend. Still maintaining character & design old style colonial British era. Loved it .

It was a one minute walk to the wharf and so easy to catch a ferry to sail by Opera house and to Manly Island! Restaurants all close by! Very safe area; as I was alone!

The 5 minute walk to the Opera House was the main reason for choosing the Sir Stamford but the view of the Harbour Bridge was very unexpected ! Our stay was most enjoyable and we will definitely staying again .

This hotel was like a step back in time. The rooms are welcoming and spacious. The bathroom and the amenities were excellent. Being in circular Quay, it is close to transport and shops. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

A beautiful hotel that still has old world charm but has been maintained well. Only complaint was the sauna was out of service but otherwise, the staff were attentive and everything was perfect.

I liked the oldy worldy style which made it feel comfortable and classy. The bathroom was amazing and the Juliet Balcony opened up to the park opposite which was tree clad and private. My only recommendation would be that the grout and silicone in the shower and tiles could do with repair/replacement in the near future.
