Was not up to 5 star standard. 1. The phone was not working. I had to go down and let reception know. 2. The in-room dining service took an hour. I had to call and ask for my food. 3. The fish was cold. Had a good bath though! Sadly, I could not use the gym.

Loved the option of room package which included breakfast, parking and wine. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices. Breakfast was served in the restaurant which had a fun artwork across the wall. Unfortunately, many of the plates and cups at breakfast were dirty. We were disappointed to arrive, having notified them in advance of our milestone wedding anniversary, to find that they had done nothing for it and seemed unaware despite a note in the special request of the booking. The room was spacious but older. Despite a booking for 4 people, the room only contained 5 pillows, although they sent more on request. The location was convenient to the airport and the on-site parking was helpful. Overall, it was a convenient stay but we would probably try a different hotel next time.
