To be fair, it is onvient to fast food and Trader Joes. However, the place looks nothing like the pictures. Half the rooms are blocked off with chain link fence for what looks like construction but there were no workers or equipment present. The pool was half way thru what appears the be a relining but no workers or equipment anywhere to be seen here either. The room we received was straight out of the 70's complete with all the wear and tear on every piece of furniture to prove it. Leaking shower with chipped/cracked tiles and he toilet seat had most of the finish sanded off on all edges to confirm the advanced age of this facility. If you're a horror movie fan, this hotel is straight out of central casting .

The place is under construction. There is chain link fencing around the back and side. The pool is disgusting, not usable, the palapa palm umbrellas are deteriorated and not at all attractive. Heavy use of bleach or cleaning products made the room unusable, gave me an instant headache. There was no window in the room. Looked like a murder room next door with dripping bleach solution out the door. Lots of deferred maintenance. WE DIDN'T STAY!! Made an alternate reservation. So sorry, the guy at the desk was nice. There IS a Chick-Fil-A next door. We have no knowledge of the suites in the main building.

The hotel is in disrepair. The pool is closed and has been for months, fine, they sent an email prior to the stay notifying me. They neglected to say that the ELEVATOR is OUT OF ORDER! We had to go up multiple flights in a dingy stairwell to our room. The room itself is old and outdated. Blinds that were torn. They did have a smart tv. Expedia should not be even offering this place.

The staff was so friendly and the building is so beautiful. I love the neighborhood and restaurants nearby as well. I made a great choice. The pool is closed until May and the elevator doesn’t work right now. But because of the staff I love the hotel anyway.

As son as you walk in, you smell mold. Elvator out of order, pool is full of green slime, etc.. My 3rd floor room (using stairs), was clean and adequate. The facility needs an entire renovation. It has great potential, but needs a lot of work.

After making my reservation at the Tahitian Inn, I unfortunately came across a recent review mentioning how dirty and outdated the rooms were. Concerned, I reached out in advance and was reassured that management takes pride in the cleanliness of their rooms. I was also reminded that the property is under construction and that the pool was closed, which I understood. Sadly, the reassurance did not match the reality. The room — especially the bathroom — was not clean. The sinks, floors, and tub appeared dirty and honestly felt like a hazard. This went beyond being outdated; it was a cleanliness issue that should never be overlooked. Based on my experience, I do not recommend staying here.
