Where do I begin..You would THINK that a property with a kitchen would assume that people might actually cook. This was the absolutely WORST stocked kitchen (for ESSENTIALS) that we have ever stayed at in 15 years. There were NO: hot pads to get something out of the oven (she did provide after I complained), can opener (also provided after I complained), basic seasonings (garlic/onion pdr), vege oil / non-stick spray, wooden spoons. There was 1 single 6” skillet. No: measuring cups/spoons, cling wrap/aluminum foil, dish towels to dry dishes with, vegetable peeler. We had asked if coffee was provided (not all places do, but most do) and she said “no”, so we brought our own - HOWEVER we were unable to make coffee because there were no coffee filters! Who is expected to travel with coffee filters? We were given 1 SINGLE towel/washcloth p/person. I have long hair and need a towel just to dry my hair. It took Verica 48 hours to provide us w/add’l towels so for 2 days I had to dry my body/hair with 1 towel – that remained wet. The shampoo/cond combo was “dollar store” – it was the worst thing my hair has ever experienced. There was no Kleenex, so we had to use t.p – and the only roll provided was the one on the wall – NO SPARE ROLL. The worst thing was the top sheet and duvet on the bed were made for a twin size bed – placed on a queen sized bed. They did not tuck in, so we didn’t sleep well because we were fighting with the linens all night. DO NOT STAY HERE.
