"A Fantastic Stay with Outstanding Service My recent stay at the Beacon Grand, a Union Square Hotel was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by every aspect of this beautiful San Francisco property. Front desk Alma was fantastic!! The room was fantastic – comfortable, well-appointed, and everything we could have asked for. The overall atmosphere of the hotel perfectly captures the elegance and charm that makes San Francisco special. What truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service from the staff. Angolo Perez, one of the doormen, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His warm professionalism and attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. The valet team was equally impressive, always helpful and courteous. My only critique would be the parking fee – at over $70, it felt quite steep, especially for hotel guests. While I understand San Francisco parking comes at a premium, this seemed excessive for those of us staying at the property. That said, the exceptional service and wonderful accommodations made our stay memorable. Angolo, Alma and the entire team at the Beacon Grand truly know how to make guests feel special. I would happily return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco!"

"This was a cute and stylish hotel in downtown San Francisco. There were some sketchy characters hanging around the neighborhood as it’s right on the edge of the tenderloin which is not a great part of San Francisco. However, I felt safe at the hotel and had no trouble getting transportation like an Waymo and taxis. The staff was very nice. There was parking right next-door for $50 for 24 hours that was not affiliated with the hotel. I liked that we had a room on a high floor to be able to take in the incredible San Francisco views."

"Great stay! We found this place last year when our usual hotel was full, and it’s become a favorite. Clean, convenient, and comfortable even without AC — the ceiling fan worked great in October. Loved the free cookies, popcorn, water and coffee! There are some friendly staffs too. Just wish they’d update the elevator. Will definitely stay again next year!"
