Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg
"We stayed here for 5 nights with 7 adults and 3 kids in the four-bedroom, two-story suite. There was plenty of space for everyone. Upstairs had a king bedroom and a queen bedroom, and downstairs had another king bedroom and a room with two twin beds. The layout worked really well for a group our size. About halfway through the stay, housekeeping came through for a quick cleaning and gave us fresh towels and washcloths and restocked things like dishwasher tabs and dish soap, which was nice. We only really used the pools and mini golf. Both were good, and having multiple pools around the resort was a big plus. We stayed during the last week of July and were surprised by how quiet the resort was. The main reason I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5 was that there were some pretty obvious signs of aging and maintenance issues. One of the sliding doors leaked pretty heavily when we had a downpour, and the other wouldn't open without jumping off the track. There were also multiple spots around the pool where the tiles were starting to pop off. We stayed here mainly for a trip to Busch Gardens. It was about a 20-minute drive, but it was an easy drive. There were also plenty of restaurants and grocery stores close to the resort. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for our group, the resort was quiet, and the location worked well for us. Even with some of the maintenance issues, we'll definitely look at staying here again the next time we plan a Busch Gardens trip."
