I wish I could give this property a better review. The staff and housekeeping were excellent. I booked two adjoining rooms for our 4 night stay. The pool is awesome but it seemed like it closed a big early, especially after spending the day at BGardens. There is no restaurant, no bar (that was a bummer). Rooms were clean. Hotel itself is dated...as in a 1990s wallpaper dated. We had a broken floor lamp in one of the rooms and the refrigerator didn't get very cold in the second room. One of the airconditioners didn't work very well. The biggest issue for me was the bed. It was entirely too soft. The soft as in where you sink into it and I was unable to sit up and read....or sleep. I ended up sleeping on the chair that converted into a cot during our stay, which worked better than the bed for me, but it was lousy.
The airconditioning in the lobby and hallways never seemed to work...it was hot. I think they were working on it though. One of the windows outside of our room was boarded up for the entirety of our stay. Honestly, these were not big things for ME, but I feel like I need to state them for a fair review. According to one of the managers, they are not exactly in their busy season yet.....but....the breakfast- if you didn't get down there early, they ran out of food. Coffee was ok. They did not have enough seating for breakfast. It was chaotic.
