Overview

This 7000+ sq foot home is nestled along the beautiful Susquehanna River in rural Harford County, MD, and offers lovely views and a relaxing ambiance. You'll love the expansive decks and the hot tub on the lower-level patio that provide lots of relaxation options. Sleeps 20.

River Haven is sparkling clean and flooded with natural light from all the windows. The fully equipped kitchen is designed to meet all your cooking needs. There is a king-sized bed in the master suite, two bedrooms with queen beds, one more large bedroom with a queen bed, two sets of twin over full bunks with twin trundles, and plenty of floor space for your air mattresses. The property features a total of four and a half bathrooms, a laundry room, a dining room, and a deck with an outdoor living space. We offer an expansive playset for your children. The basement offers air hockey, corn hole, ping-pong, pool table and a new five-person hot tub with all the bells and whistles on the stone patio. Bring your friend group or whole family and enjoy the views and ambience of a vacation rental done right. At the end of the street, there is a launching dock for kayaks. (No kayaks are provided.)

River Haven now features a whole-house backup generator, eliminating concerns about power outages.

Two new bedrooms and a full bath in the basement.

A new pickleball court.

There are exterior cameras on the premises; however, they are never accessed unless documentation is required.

If your check-out date falls on a Sunday, we offer free 6:00 PM Sunday checkout. It's our way of saying thank you.

Please note that a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended if your trip is scheduled for winter. Two-wheel drives will be just fine unless the road is covered in snow.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- We kindly ask that there be no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

- Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

- Please be aware that you will be charged 10% of the total trip amount at booking, and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file thirty days prior to check-in.

- A $350 Damage Waiver Fee will be charged at checkout. If no damage is reported after cleaning, the refund will be processed to the card on file.

- Absolutely no pets. If a pet is discovered, there will be a $250 upcharge.

What a beautiful place to spend a weekend catching up with old friends! The views are incredible and the kitchen is a dream. We were a little bummed that the hot tub wasn't working, but had tons of fun regardless.

Amazing Home for a large group

We stayed here with a group of Moms and daughters for a lacrosse tournament that was about 40 mins away. The place was perfect for a large group with plenty of parking, bedrooms, showers and areas to relax. There was plenty to keep the girls busy with the hot tub, ping pong table, pickle ball court, etc., which was fantastic. The kitchen was also a great size for cooking for the group. Thanks for a great experience!

Perfect for large group

We had a group of 18 moms and daughters, and this place was perfection. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen was well-stocked, the basement was filled with games/activities for the kids, and the view was incredible. The house was clean and tidy, and the host was clear and accurate with descriptions/information. Although we didn’t use the two basement bedrooms, the option to have more rooms with privacy would have been wonderful if needed.The kids spent a majority of the time outside on the playset which was great for kids under 10, and we spent the evenings on the large deck soaking in the stunning view of the river. The property was very private and absolutely perfect for our fun weekend away.

This was by far the best Property we have ever stayed at. We were in town for a cheer competition with 6 moms and 7 daughters. The upstairs room had beds for every girl plus some! The house was extremely clean and the host literally though about EVERYTHING. From local menus, to games for all ages and even to-go containers in the kitchen! (which we always forget!) It was so comfortable and enjoyable, no one wanted to leave!

Girls trip

We had a very mini college reunion of sorts for a weekend and loved every minute of staying in this beautiful home. There was plenty of space for 10 of us and it never felt cramped or stuffy. We also loved the deck and getting to enjoy the view all weekend. We had no complaints and would love to return.

Stunning River Front Home

This property was absolutely wonderful! It is a beautiful river front home with breathtaking views. It is a very well maintained property and included all the essentials you could need. The house accommodated our family of 12 comfortably. We were traveling with children and the expansive grounds and playground were a huge hit. Communication with the property manager was easy. Three Generation Family Getaway

This property was amazing. We had a large family get together that included multiple adults and children of various ages, and the space was absolutely perfect. It would be almost impossible to beat the view from the back porch of the river. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our time together in this house.

Beautiful home - great for large groups!

We loved this property, the views, and the privacy. We very comfortably fit a group of 12, but could have easily fit more. My only complaint is communication with guests could be improved. The owner does not specifically provide any instructions on how to operate the hot tub in advance, even though this could easily be put in the welcome email or on-property binder. After many attempts to reach the owner, it took until our last day for the hot tub to be operational, as maintenance was sent hours before we left. Like many, I always filter on properties with hot tubs, so this was disappointing.
