Welcome to haeven: a secluded 5 acre oasis of magical land + wellness amenities immersed in the wild, raw, unfiltered nature of Joshua Tree.

Instead of building fortress-like fences + plucking away any evidence of nature for a "pristinely modern" but sterile environment, we celebrate the healing power of untouched nature - whether simply for much-needed relaxation or for deeper soul recalibration.

Joshua Tree and the stillness of the Mojave Desert has always been an escape from city life, yet haeven is a truly unique slice of the healing desert.

The restorative energy of this land was discovered by your host, Mel Daly, mindfulness teacher. all guests who visit haeven mention its inherent peacefulness and calm.

Even in the midst of the harsh desert elements, this land is abundant with eucalyptus trees, rare "coyote squash" growing in the back desert, turtle doves building their nests each spring on our patio, wild hares running by the cowboy tub, multiple shooting stars each night above the hot tub and more.

Every guest that steps foot on this land mentions feeling its energy. For some, it's calming, and for others, it's soul-activating and energizing.

Every inch of haeven has been thoughtfully designed by mindfulness teacher Mel Daly, to invite a deep remembrance of what truly living feels like.

This spacious 2300+ sq. ft property has been used for couple's trips, family/friend reunions, girl’s trips, birthday celebrations, yoga/wellness/spiritual retreats, solo solitude, remote working/creative inspiration, and even small elopement-style weddings (inquire directly re. small venue fees/policies)!

Living + Dining - The spacious, open-plan living + dining area are perfect for entertaining, playing board games, and/or curling up with a book and a glass of wine. Sip your morning coffee from the couch watching the sunrise over Joshua Trees + mountains. Fabulous views. [Family friendly - plenty of kids toys/games, and 1 high-chair provided.]

The Master Suite w/ Ensuite Bathroom - An extra large room with a luxurious California King bed. French doors open out to the patio. Wake up to incredible sunrises with endless Joshua Tree views right out the window from your bed! An ensuite bathroom begs you to relax + pamper yourself with a freestanding tub + a walk-in dual-head rain shower. Small table for remote laptop working or creative writing.

Guest Room 1 - A tranquil room with a plush Queen bed + french doors leading out to the side patio.

Guest Room 2 - A spacious room that sleeps 4-5. Single bed and queen-sized bunk beds. Perfect for all the kids, a girls trip, or sharing a room amongst retreat participants. [1 Pack and Play crib/bassinet provided for small children.]

Guest Bath - A relaxing full bathroom with original Joshua Tree tile and a shower + tub with luxurious Morrocan oil amenities + epsom salt to unwind.

The Yoga Studio + Sauna/Massage - simply one of the best rooms in the house. Sun-soaked room with large sliding doors out to the front to bring the magical outdoors directly in. Can be used for yoga, meditation, sound bath, massages with local providers, or a multi-purpose gym/wellness room. Heated towel rack outside the door to the hot tub. The wild, raw, unfiltered immersion with nature, the restorative energy, and the endless breathtaking views are what make haeven truly special. Every single guest who visits says there is an incredible feel + energy. Every spring we have turtle doves who choose to build their nests on our land. We find magical plants growing in the back desert. It truly is an incredibly unique slice of desert.

DESERT INFORMATION:

We are immersed in the wildness of the desert, which is what makes haeven so special. this brings certain natural elements with it. Your shoes/feet may get dirty ;).

The high desert can experience strong wind that may bring debris with it, even after our crew has cleaned right before your arrival. Sometimes furniture cushions or other supplies get blown around, despite our best efforts to keep them down w/ bungee cords. There is wildlife, including insects + other animals. Please take the rugged nature of our terrain and the immersion with nature into consideration prior to booking ;).

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

**HOT TUB/COWBOY TUB: We have a spa maintenance company 1x/week to keep the tub sparkling clean on FRIDAY. PLEASE NOTE - GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DECLINE SERVICE. Please help out the other guests enjoyment by allowing the spa service to work for 15-20 mins.

**THE FLOATING PLATTER: Please use with caution + care! The platter is stored on top of the fridge. This is a handwoven, expensive platter that we are so happy to be able to provide for our guests. PLEASE no glassware (plasticware is in kitchen). PLEASE NOTE - Excess cleaning fees for any food/glass/drink spills in cowboy tub will be the guest's responsibility. Please so kindly consider guests checking in right after you and their ability to use the cowboy tub! :)

**FIREPIT: Propane is provided for your convenience! If your group uses the entire tank during your stay, you are responsible for re-filling for any of your additional uses. Propane can be refilled at La Mesa Market just down the street. Firewood is guest's responsibility - it can be purchased at La Mesa Market.

***SUPPLIES: We provide complimentary toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. We provide enough for avg. stays - if you have a larger group/are staying for more than 2 nights, please anticipate running to the market if you run out! We also have laundry on-site, but detergent is not readily stocked for guests use.
