The Prince Hakone Lake Ashinoko
Hotel was clean and the staff were all very polite and helpful. The beds were a little uncomfortable, the AC didn’t work well and the room was hot but we were able to open the windows which was nice. Overall, the hotel was dated and guest rooms could use a renovation

The staff here was very inflexible. Too many rules that aren’t communicated ahead of time. We expected to be able to have dinner at the hotel and were told they couldn’t accommodate us. Hotel Kajikaso
Family-friendly property but definitely a bit dated. The elevators had a funky smell. The living space was huge and the in-room bottomless beer amenity was pretty cool. Overall, it wasn’t bad for a short weekend trip to Hakone.
