"More like a hostel than a hotel! The deluxe room was not very deluxe and very basic … small and outdated … bathroom was grubby with cracks in the bath and paint peeling off the back of the dirty door, grout was black around bath and toilet was dirty … nowhere to store cases or clothes properly … no water or glasses available in rooms … WiFi was intermittent …window view of air conditioning units not NYC! The bathroom ceiling had a bulge and leaked but nothing was done even after we reported it … asked for a room upgrade as we are platinum tier and reception said there weren’t any when we knew there were upgrades to suites … asked for a late checkout for all the inconvenience and given an extra hour! So would not recommend unless you are of school or college age as there were plenty of youngsters there eating takeaway food in the reception area and hanging around… luggage storage also cost us $3 per item which we didn’t expect! "
