"The best part about the hotel is the location as it’s right next to the Waverley train station. Our view out the window was also great; we could see the Nelson monument as well as the neo-classical half finished Parthenon type structure. The hotel room itself was a bit weird. The bed was jammed against the wall so there was really only one side you could get in on. The TV was set up for casting but I couldn’t get it to work and I’m in tech. Perhaps something wrong with our specific TV which was not connected to the internet. The worst part of the room was the bathroom. For some reason we got a disabled bathroom which made showering feel like prison experience. Last thing was our 3 day booking came with a welcome bottle of sparkling wine. We never got it so after a day thinking about it I finally had to chase it down at reception. Sure enough, it was part of the booking and the staff brought it up to our room with glasses which was great, but I’d rather have gotten it when we checked in. "

"Nice enough place if you’re staying for a few nights. Easy connection to the main shopping places and airport. Breakfast was pretty good! It’s literally right next to the zoo which is an amazing place, deffo worth a visit! A few things to note: no fridge or safe in the rooms, which to be fair it didn’t say they had, that was me assuming but worth mentioning for others. Main minor grumble was only one towel for me and the wife but mostly that there was no toilet brush which was a bit grim - ended up contorting the shower head into the bog and blasting it. Other than that yeah not too bad."

"I've rated this hotel "okay" which it was. A 10 min walk from Waverley Station. From reception to the room was quite convoluted as had to take 2 different lifts and signage wasn't great to the 2nd lift - through the restaurant and down a corridor. The staff were helpful though and the receptionist was friendly. We were able to check in early which was helpful and appreciated. The hotel felt slightly tired but it was generally clean. Better blackout curtains in the room would be good. The TV kept losing signal which was a little annoying (had to turn it off and on again)."

"It was a beautiful property with it being very quiet and pretty song birds in the morning. Great location for using the tram as well. The kitchen side of the room was very dark and no plug ins in the bathroom. The room also needed hooks to hang up bags, coats and hook to hang your clothes for steaming. I would stay there again (stayed 8 nights)"
