This was a wonderful hotel! A modern space in the heart of an old city, it felt fresh and comfortable. The shower was excellent, and the entire room was well-designed and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. The only downside was that my room did not have an outlet near a mirror, which made it tricky to blow-dry and curl my hair. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again—it was a great experience.

This is one of the best locations in the city for a hotel. Right on the border between New Town and Old Town and close to the train station. Rooms were just ok, but clean.

AVOID! I really hate to leave negative feedback, but this hotel deserves it. Despite that my room was more than $300 a night (and it was the cheapest room), it had no windows, no amenities (not even hangers, ironing board, or a telephone!). It did have a skylight that unfortunately couldn't be fully closed leaving the sun shining in every morning at 4am in the Scottish summer. It also required 2 different elevators, multiple steps, and a very long walk to reach my room (which was complicated with heavy luggage). I regret this booking.
