"Love staying at the Meriton Surfers Paradise. Easy parking and great location, not right in the middle of the hussle. Beach access across the road and great restaurant next door. However, room wasn’t up to cleanliness standard. Kitchen bench was dirty as was the bathroom bench. There was dust and sticky stuff on it. The drinking glasses and coffee cup had grime and coffee rings. Had a sink but no dish liquid. That was a let down."

"The motel is very rundown and over priced. The windows rattled all night. The Stairs up to our room look like they are ready to collapse. The room smelt like spices. The pictures on the website are very creative photography. Plaster wall patches behind every bed and the carpet is very old and dirty. We felt like leaving straight away. We are so disappointed with the accommodation as a family of five ( 2 adults and 3 children). I took pictures of everything."

"On arrival, our family suite was clean and well presented. It had all the necessities such as full kitchen, washer, dryer and outdoor amenities. Woolworths and pharmacy is a short 5min walk down the road which made things super convenient. The staff are very friendly and notified us when our room was ready for check in. Would definitely recommend and book here again next time we are in the Gold coast."
