I loved the technology from the ipad room control, the automatic sign in and key making, superb lift system, and all the fittings were great. My only criticism is the free coffee system on each floor ( not in the room) was a bit difficult to get right and two mornings there was no milk cartons on my floor.

Very nice and clean, modern property with good amenities, has a nice restaurant in the roof all though we did not try looks very upscale and good. Very close to a good metro station with 3 different trains that pass through. City center, red light concerts, ajax game are all maybe 15 or so minutes away with minimal walking would recommend it's also a quiet residential area so has decent traffic but is all quiet so feels super safe.

I loved my stay at Ruby Emma. The amenities were fantastic. It was such good value for money given how large the room was and it being such a modern hotel. I loved being able to control the room via an iPad, the bed was comfy and having black out blinds meant I slept really well. The only downside is the location. Being outside the centre of Amsterdam, there are no trams nor are there any good restaurants directly nearby as it’s a residential area. However, the metro station is 5 minutes away and it’s super easy to get into the centre. I particularly enjoyed going out in the De Pijp neighbourhood and I would stay here again as I find other hotels in Amsterdam to be expensive and poorly maintained.

This hotel is in a good location and not too far from the train station when wanting to get to Central Amsterdam, etc. There is a McDonald’s right outside the hotel and a few other shops which was very handy. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean. The only issue we had was there was no iron in the room and it’s a bit of an inconvenience having to leave your room every time to go and iron clothes on the second or third floor. Also, the AC in the room doesn’t get hot enough or cool enough therefore the room can almost feel stuffy at times. I would definitely stay again for the price you can’t go wrong. The staff were really friendly. Also, you don’t have to worry about bringing your own umbrella because the hotel allows you to rent umbrellas and also bicycles, which is so handy!

Do not vape in the rooms unless you’d like a £150 fine. Nowhere did it say we couldn’t use vapes and we did it in the hotel room dying our whole stay then somehow set off a silent fire alarm on our 4th day of our booking. Staff made us pay £150 immediately while we questioned why vaping is an issue and that we were never told/ no signs saying no vapes. Shocking
