Incredible home in an incredible place!

Unbelievable location in Girdwood and we walked everywhere through the beautiful town. The log cabin was charming and well appointed for our large group. It had everything we could've needed for our stay. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality and for making this home available to us - we'd love to return and highly recommend!

Girdwood getaway

Wow, just wow!!! This place was fantastic!! The kitchen was very well stocked from coffee to pancake stuff! As well as all the pots, pans, plates etc to enjoy large meals. The games that were there were fun and the beds were great. We used this as a jumping off point for a full week of fun for our sons wedding, it was perfect. Thank you!!!

We will definitely return to this hidden gem. Centrally located to so many activities. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great communication with owner. Owners were accommodating when we had a family health emergency. We will be back to Alaska and book the Alpine Haus for sure!!!

This property was excellent! The location was perfect for hiking, wedding and restaurants. Space was great inside, hot tub was good and we really appreciated the soaps, towels and other small items already in the kitchen and bathrooms. The “mud room” was great to hang wet coats and wet shoes without messing up the rest of the floors. The only suggestion we have is to possibly put a dehumidifier in the bottom floor. All of the wet gear gives the bedroom a musty smell. We will be returning to Alaska next year for another wedding and would readily book this same cabin again.

Great Girdwood location

We loved this home! There was plenty of room for everyone, a well stocked and functional kitchen. The Bake Shop is walking distance for the house if you want some fresh sour dough bread and homemade jam! We are looking forward to returning!

What an outstanding stay

Great location, great accommodations and so well stocked. We had 6 adults, enjoyed a meal at the home with an evening in the Hot Tub and a fire in the fireplace! We all give this home a 5 star!

Excellent Location and Beautiful Accommodations

This was a perfect place to stay. It was in the middle of everything and a walk away from great dining and incredible scenery. We were a fairly quick drive to Anchorage and very close to amazing recreation, helicopter ride to glaciers and ATVing. It was fabulous. Tammi was always quick to respond with questions. I would recommend this place to stay as the most beautiful and centralized area to stay. Thank you again!!!

5 star cabin/home in a great area

The property was as advertised, actually even better than the pictures showed. We were walking distance to the Girdwood Brewery (great beer) and some restaurants (Jack Sprat was wonderful). Our street was very quiet. It has a very well stocked kitchen and a wonderful hot tub. Thanks for sharing this property with us!

Great place in a ski resort town

Had a great time here. Got to see some black bears hanging around outside one morning which was great for the kiddos. Centrally located to the ski resort, tram system up to the mountain top, great trails, and is 45 minutes closer to Kenai than Anchorage. Alaska Wildlife Center is also close. Property was clean, with a lot of the stuff you need to make dinner at the house. Tammie was responsive to any messages. All in all, had a great time here.
