We arrived early and asked if an early check in was available. We were advised it was possible, but only if we paid $30, even though we were staying on a VIP rate. It wasn’t until we got to the room and checked our perks ourselves that we saw we were meant to receive a complimentary bottle of wine, which had not been mentioned or offered at check in. We then had to ask for it, and there was no option to choose the wine either.
The bar and restaurant closed at 8pm, although the website listed a 9pm close for Saturdays. This also was not communicated at check in, and there was no room service available.
The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the amenities were good. The TV setup was a bit awkward as it was on a pull-out bracket and not easily viewable from the bed.
Overall, the stay was fine, but the communication from staff needs improvement, especially regarding included perks and available services.
