I really enjoyed my stay at the Adina Apartment Hotel Britomart. The room had everything I needed for my three-night visit. The kitchen was well equipped with an oven, dishwasher, cooktop, and a large fridge. There were enough dishes for two people, making it easy to prepare a quick meal or heat something up, and the complimentary teas were a nice touch. The air conditioner worked well, keeping the room comfortable. The location was another highlight—just a short walk to the ferry terminal along the shorefront, and a grocery store was only a few minute walk away. Overall, a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

Room was on the small side but it had everything needed, including a kitchen with a larger fridge, kettle and toaster. The shower was HUGE with 2 shower heads and 2 sets of toilettes, unfortunately the vanity has no room to put anything. The room is serviced every 3 days so hang up your towels. The Arena was visible from our window. The ‘guest laundry’ is a payable service with 100% surcharge on weekends!!

Room was clean as usual one issue was with the shower On arrival it was at the bottom of its holding arm raised it and it fell straight down tried tightening it , would not stay up found some cable ties and managed to tie it up to a usable height Turned the water on and the shower head started spinning under pressure Went to the management desk to advise staff of the issue .Staff checked it out and told me what I did was good however being the weekend northing could be done about it and to only turn the water so that it was low . This was an unsatisfactory response so I went to the local hardware store and bought a packet of cable ties and temporarily solved our problem. Point of my complaint is that the problem had an easy solution, the attitude of the staff felt like “not my problem “ We have always stayed at the Adina when we go to Auckland but now will more likely go elsewhere service is everything

We arrived early and asked if an early check in was available. We were advised it was possible, but only if we paid $30, even though we were staying on a VIP rate. It wasn’t until we got to the room and checked our perks ourselves that we saw we were meant to receive a complimentary bottle of wine, which had not been mentioned or offered at check in. We then had to ask for it, and there was no option to choose the wine either. The bar and restaurant closed at 8pm, although the website listed a 9pm close for Saturdays. This also was not communicated at check in, and there was no room service available. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the amenities were good. The TV setup was a bit awkward as it was on a pull-out bracket and not easily viewable from the bed. Overall, the stay was fine, but the communication from staff needs improvement, especially regarding included perks and available services.
