This hotel is nice and central. Walking distance to catch the ferry to Waiheke Island and walking distance to all your shopping needs and restaurants. If you like to gamble, the casino is within the hotel complex, and for the adrenaline junkies, you can bungee jump or skywalk at the Skytower which is also within the hotel complex. Something for everyone I say. Whenever in Auckland this will be my go to hotel.

I chose this hotel based on the price, the location, and the availability (room-wise). We stayed for 14 nights in the Premium King Room, which was available without an increase to our original package. We also looked at the restaurants, shopping, things to see and do, transportation, and walkability within the hotel and its surrounding area. The lobby, elevator, halls, and rooms were all clean. Staff were always checking in on us and asking if we needed anything. The room was large, with a king-sized bed, a small “L” shaped couch, a nightstand on one side of the bed, a desk, a credenza under the TV, a fixed luggage rack, a coffee/tea station, several drawers, shelves, and a closet. The bathroom had plenty of room to move, ample counter space, and a shower that could fit two. We couldn’t ask for anything more, except a microwave, but we understand since there are restaurants in the hotel. We were down the hall from the elevator, so the noise level was very minimal. This hotel is also a bus hub and has a casino!

Good sized room, clean and had everything we needed. Staff very helpful. Central location and bus stop for direct airport transfer is right outside, very convenient! Restaurants right inside the building and casino, very handy and food was delicious. You don’t really need to leave the building for anything!

Pretty good. However, they did not take into consideration we had a one year old with us and put us next door to the rooms that had a patio area, which brought a bit of noise and the smell of smoke. The window also was directly next to the outside patio area so was a little uncomfortable.
