Statig appartement in hartje Barcelona

Statig appartement in hartje Barcelona. Om de hoek (50m) is de Placa de Catalunya waar de Ramblas op uitkomt. De metro en bussen stoppen onder/op het Place de Catalunya. Appartement is heel statig. Niet gebouw wordt deels gebruikt als ambassade, waardoor er altijd een beveiliger en soms twee in de centrale hal aanwezig zijn. Wel verdient het appartement enig eenvoudig onderhoud (planken vloer laat los, waterschade bij de wasbakken en losse kranen. Naast de drie slaapkamers (1 pk, 2 pk en 2 pk op de vide), waar de site misschien niet altijd even duidelijk over is met de foto's) zijn er twee badkamers. Eentje beneden en eentje boven een beetje geĂŻmproviseerd maar wel heel stijlvol op de vide. Ook kun je heerlijk zitten aan een ronde tafel in de serre/erker, waarmee je een prachtig uitzicht hebt over de Passeig de Gracia aan de ene kant en de Placa de Catalunya aan de andere kant. Dichter in het centrum bestaat niet en werkelijk een heel mooi statig appartement. Nu nog twee dagen klussen en het ziet er helemaal top uit.

We have stayed in over 50 VRBO properties over 20 years and have been happy with all but 2. This one was the worst. Old, dingy, dirty and needed a complete remodel and deep cleaning. Beds, bathroom, and fridge were discusting. My wife and I would have left and stayed in a hotel if there were any available. Just not the condition a rental should be in. On the good side it was a great view and location, just not a livable unit .

When We are in Barcelona, this is where we stay.

We LOVE Barcelona & we won't stay anywhere else but here. It is beautiful, the view out the Dining Room windows is BREATHTAKING (!!!!!!) & you take the elevator down stairs & you are on Spain's Rodeo Drive! We will be back later this year & next year!

Shopaholics dream

Location was excellent. Very central. Basically on barcelona’s Fifth avenue bordering on Las Ramblas. Located adjacent to addidas and apple store. Two blocks down was Casa Batlo and Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas was 1/2 block the opposite direction. Room had an excellent view but apartment can best be defined as eclectic. The upstairs (main bed with separate bathroom) was a bit warm and tough to cool off. The upstairs bathroom shower only had small curtain for privacy and toilet was four feet from the bed. Upstairs not good for sharing, downstairs had two private bedrooms and a nice clean complete bathroom. Metro stop was right on the corner.
