If you are forced to have an extended stay they have no laundry facility nor laundry service. There is a constant smell of marijuana everywhere. It's a family business but some family members donot understand simple requests like staying longer. Next time I'll stay on Mapleview Drive where they understand business travel.

I am very familiar with Barrie having grown up there. The hotel is right off of the 400 and it was sufficient. I stayed for almost a week. If it had have been bad, I would have definitely checked out. I would actually stay there again tbh.

We came to snowboarding and was pretty excited to have the jacuzzi in our room but the water turns out to be yellow and when we inform the staff he was showing us the other room with jacuzzi .. but the ceiling on top of the bed was soaked … the next day when we check out the girl in front desk said.. oh it’s probably just the pipe being rusted 😅overall the place is not as clean as I expected when I chose the upgrade room will not come again .. can’t trust the water in this hotel.

We booked two rooms thru different sites but they were able to give us two rooms together (linked). We booked a king suite upgraded with jacuzzi and a queen double bed room. The kids had so much just running between the rooms and bathing in the jacuzzi. All they wanna do is go back to the hotel 😅 also my 6 yr old woke up and first thing he said was I’m so excited about breakfast.

Outstanding attention from the reception manager

I believe our experience at this hotel was good. The cleanliness was appropriate, as evident in the washroom. The room, in general, was fine—no odors, no spots, comfortable beds, and sufficient TV programming. I must highlight the excellent service of the reception manager. When we ran out of orange juice, he provided an immediate solution. We will definitely choose this hotel again.
