Book Cheap Hotels in Berrien Center

"Sadly, I have to report a disappointing stay. Hundreds of hotel stays in my time and never had a bathroom that was not cleaned and living area obviously not vacuumed. I had already come in and unpacked then gone out to dinner w family I was visiting when I returned to my room in the hopes of utilizing the deep tub for a long soak only to find soap scum, hair, and used wash cloth on the tub ledge. Called front desk and received apologies and promise to have it cleaned next day but I was only staying 1 night. Sat down on couch to watch tv and noticed dead leaves and crumbs on the carpet. Spoke again to front desk who told me they wanted to talk to someone about the situation and would be in touch. They did call back and offered me breakfast vouchers for the morning and a gift from the gift store. Ugh. I had breakfast plans with family and then heading back out of town. No gift was wanted. Ick. I've stayed here several times in the past. Just so disappointed. Made me question what else didn't get cleaned."

"The room was nice and clean and fresh smelling. The tub was clean-ish. I would never have bathed in that tub, but standing to shower would be okay. The flusher on the toilet was about to fall off and was difficult to flush. The large blackout screen wouldn't go up so we missed some of the view. The pool was small but adequate. No hot tub, though 😕 There was complimentary coffee, tea and hot cocoa around the clock. Breakfast was very nice. Lots of options, both hot and cold. Do it yourself pancakes, scrambled eggs & sausage links for hot options. Cold cereal and milk, bread you can toast or not, some kind of Danish looking thing, fresh fruit and apple and orange juice. The also had flavored yogurt and oatmeal packets you could dispense hot water on and make yourself. All in all, a pleasant stay."

"We stayed one night as we were visiting the coast on our way to Chicago. This was booked following reviews that appeared on Hotels.com and whilst the hotel was adequate we felt that our experience did not match up with what other people have said. The overall area appeared to be geared towards families although we were there in mid April most things were shut. The overall feel of the hotel was average. We stayed in a suite with a view of the car park. In room tea coffee was available although paper cups which was a little surprising for the grade of hotel. The in house restaurant and bar was closed on Sunday and Monday this was not mentioned on the website and the only food available was from a snack shop with limited stock. Breakfast was continental but again tea and coffee was available using the same sort of paper cups cutlery was plastic. The website suggests breakfast is top rated not quite sure how. You are left with the impression that it was overpriced and not really worth the money we paid. "
