This is a 3 star hotel. It was perfect for us. Great location. The wifi is only in the lobby area not in the rooms. In the morning you can get a voucher for coffee at a restaurant around the corner.

The best powdered sand beaches I have ever been to. The hotel is quaint and the rooms are very basic but there is an old Mexican charm to them. I struggled with the lack of elevator and absence of helpers for my bags but on checkout they got me help from outside. I could live in this little hotel!

BEWARE! They will bait and switch you! We reserved a bright beautiful room overlooking the pool and beach and when we arrived we were put into a dark, dingy room with bamboo and plywood on the wall and a tarp... yes, a tarp for a ceiling which wasn't even stapled to the frame well so you could see outside and bugs could come in (and did!). It was horrible! It was so horrible we had to find another hotel and check out. THE HOTEL HAS A NO REFUNDS POLICY AND TRAVELOCITY WON'T BACK UP THE CUSTOMER. So they will put you in a crappy room and they know Travelocity will back their no refunds policy. Beware if you stay here... look at the reviews and read what the bad ones are about - don't be fooled by their fake good reviews! Also know, if you need two beds it's only a "request" and you very likely won't get it which makes for an awkward time if you are traveling with a friend. Read the fine print!!!! But beware, this place is shady as can be!!!

Very pretty property. Beach is right in front. If you're looking for fancy this isn't it. I would call it cozy. No amenities at all. So it depends on what's important, pretty and cozy or fancy with amenities.

Beautiful old property right on the water. I had a lovely quiet week. HOWEVER, what they DON'T tell you when you book the room is that they charge you another $150 room deposit in case of property damage. Really? How much property damage do they expect a 60-year-old HS teacher to cause? Further, this additional deposit is in none of their promotional material, NOR is is anywhere in the fine print. A very unpleasant surprise upon check-in. However it IS a BEAUTIFUL, one-of-a-kind property.

Great Beach, but we were very disappointed with the room, as we signed up and paid for the triple room deluxe and were told when we arrived that there is no such thing. Even though thats what it said on our intenerary. We were three adult that had to stay in a one room hotel room. I don't know if this is Travalocity's fault or the hotels, either way we were not pleased with the accomadations.
