Pymgate was lovely. We were in Manchester for 2 days only for a concert. It was a lovely property. Dated but clean. No AC and no lift but we were very comfortable. Staff was very nice. Close proximity to airport and you can hear the planes coming in but the bed was comfortable.

The hotel was conveniently situated close to Manchester Airport. I was given a clean and comfortable room on the ground floor which was perfect for a very tired traveller. The hostess was very pleasant and even made me a sandwich as I was too tired to look for an evening meal.

The owners have worked really hard to make this a place that feels comfortable and homely. It’s not luxury by any means, but it’s comfortable and pleasant, and represents value for money. The service is extremely good.
