"The team was very welcoming and helpful, Daniel was amazing checking in my daughter and her boyfriend, their 1st time in Cartagena and gave my husband and I very important important information while checking us out! At the restaurant, Shirley was an outstanding waitress!! Overall a great experience. One of our recommendations is for the Hyatt to invest on replacing the rooms’s refrigerators as they just don’t work…we were at a Hyatt earlier this year in Cancun, MX and unfortunately experienced the same problem."

"Outstanding! The breakfast was excellent!!! They had your typical breakfast buffet with omelet station, fresh fruits, fresh juices, etc. The pool was beautiful overlooking the ocean. The food by the pool and room service was very good as well. Uber works there and it's super cheap. There are shops and restaurants all around. The beach was nice but the vendors drive you nuts. Just keep saying no Thank you to whatever they are selling. Overall this hotel was amazing and would definitely go again!!!"

"Great location, nice lobby & rooms. The front desk & maid service were super friendly. The bar tenders & breakfast servers were inconsistently friendly. Breakfasts were very good. Be prepared to speak Spanish! We would stay here again!"

"Mood Matuna was an excellent choice for our stay in Cartagena. The staff was excellent. In particular, Marjorie and Maria made our stay very enjoyable. Their excellent hospitality, professionalism, attentiveness and sunny disposition made our trip. The rooms were very spacious and the housekeeping staff were great. When we decided to stay in the Walled City we knew that it was going to be bustling, noisy, and crowded, but that was something we wanted to experience. The Walled City is old and everything is not aesthetically pleasing, but that was not something we cared about. So, if you want to be in walking distance of Getsmani, La Gorda Gertrudis, the Clock Tower, Plaza de Santo Domingo and Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas to name a few this is a good choice.
