We loved the new bathroom! The mini-split a/c and the larger refrigerator are nice additions also. This was our 3rd stay at Dad's Cabin and we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

We were a little disappointed and unprepared for the cooking arrangements. There was only 1 plate and 1 fork. It was a little difficult to wash dishes in the bathroom. The secluded area was super nice. This is a neat little place just needs some extra dishes added.

Nice property if you are not expecting many extras. It is clean with modern bathroom fixtures. No kitchen sink but the bathroom works for the few utensils you may use with the hot plate. Nice refrigerator.

This quaint, little cabin was perfect for my husband and me. It was sufficient, cozy, private, and a much needed Texas Hill country oasis!! The hosts were fabulous! They sent our check in information in a timely manner and were very explicit about both check in and check out procedures, which as a renter is always super helpful. We greatly enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future!

A little too far from Fredericksburg. Much more remote than expected. Need to make sure there’s toilet paper for your guests. Also maybe have more plates and utensils for the cabin. The cabin was very quaint and very peaceful.

Good property out in the hill country away from town. Very relaxing. Only small problems like hornets in the corner by the front door, the shower not having hot water (but the tub did), and a mud dauber that could get into the cabin. Outside of the small problems, I would return for another stay. The quiet and calm out in the hill country was amazing. With the deer and wildcat sightings, so awesome.

Remote Relaxing

My wife and I spent a couple of nights and love the atmosphere. Secluded is a good way to describe this property and it was exactly what we were looking for.You have great views from the firepit area of the hill across the valley and there are good views from the front porch.But, the best part was the peacefulness sitting in the mountain breeze and listening to the birds and nature. This is definitely a place to disconnect. Thanks Mrs. Seymour for sharing this cabin that your Dad built it was a blessing to us.Thanks also for how organized the instructions of check-in and check-out were.We hope to see you again soon.
